Part 9

My brother had come to pick me up from the hostel, I jumped into the car with a smile. We were driving and it was winter, so I had a hoody on. My brother just kept on tossing it down while driving to annoy me; well that was never annoying...it was rather fun, every brother does a little sweet annoying stuff to his sister and that's quite normal.

We reached home in almost 1 hour and half. I was standing behind my brother and he rang the doorbell. My mom opens up the door in hurry, I could understand that as she was unlocking the chain locks quite fast; which made bro laugh a bit.

"Mom, never open the door with seeing through the eye-peek. It could've been an axe murderer." He laughs and goes inside giving my mom and small rub on the shoulders. I was still standing outside, and my mom was staring at me, with her eyes full of love and greeted me in a hug. She held me tighter and it was so warm; I could feel how much she really missed me. She pulls me out and tells me to go to my room and freshen up.

I just washed my face and the limbs, and was also sitting in the toilet for like an hour, playing my PS3 and doing my stuff; which I didn't really get to do when I'm at hostel. Alexa facts #101. She always needs to go to toilet, with emergency bulb flickering on her head when I'm in the freaking toilet.

It was like hardly ten minutes that my brother shouted from downstairs, "Dinner's ready Ms. You'd like to come eat? I'm starving." I run down with my hair up in a bun and almost sprinted to the dining, as I was hungry since I didn't eat since I had that daily burger with Alexa for breakfast.

The table full of foods, like we are having some royal dinner or something. "What is this, life?!" My brother shouts out as all the foods were actual the ones belonging to my favorite list. He was annoyed about that. "Well, everyone doesn't stay at the Oxford hostel" I said...taunting. "Well, I head from there dude." He replies, cheekily.

"So, how's everything going? Like the studies..." My brother asks taking a spoonful of curry in his mouth with the rice.
"Well, yeah. All's good."
"And how's your advisor doing with you? Or should I say how's your advisor doing with you." He laughs.
"Yeah yeah, go on." I allow him.

"Stop taunting her", mom shushes bro and moves to me, "How's it going with people over there?"
"Mom, they are normal people, they aren't monsters." My brother laughs.
"Yeah mom, it's all okay." I agree to him.
"Okay?" She twists an eyebrow.
"Yeah, okay. Neutral."

"And how's your roommate? That girl..." Mom starts.
"Yes, what's her name...um...Ale...Ellie?" My brother continues and finally I answer, "Alexandra."
"And Clem calls her Alexa...pet names." Bro teases.

"So, are you good with her?" Mom asks, worried. I wondered if she knew something about the plans we were carrying on.
"Mom, she's quite a nice girl. She's a best buddy of Clemy baby." He answers that for me. Sometimes his answers are really worth good for me.
