If I were to say I got to the headmaster's office on the first try it would be a huge lie. It toke three dead ends, four times going in the wrong room, and five people to give me directions (these people either don't know how to get there or aren't very trust worthy).

By the time I finally got there half the people had been called in to the office. Looking around the lobby I notice a flat screen TV on a wall nearby with the ranks of all the tested shifters. About half of them are werewolves and there are some shifters that are regular that aren't wolves. The rest are elemental with only three vogue shifters whose names were Nick Adams (the kid from earlier who was called first), Selina Asher, and Ryan Fellows.

Wow three kids that are rare, normally if there are vogue shifters it's an even number and they are most likely mates and even two are rare. So three kids soon to be four kids, the council when they hear about this will have heart attack. Which I have no clue if it's a bad thing for them to have a heart attack or not since I've meet two of the members in the council and they were both jerks but then if that happens we won't have any trained leaders.

Forty-nine minutes went by before I was called. "Kayla Kandell please come in."

The office was like how you would suspect it would be with book shelves on every wall with a beautiful wood desk towards the back and seats on both sides of the desk. The only thing that really caught my attention were three huge different colored crystals.

"Please sit down it might take a while for the crystals to notice you, so this is what will happen if you are a normal shifter the smallest crystal will become a darker shade of the original, or if you are a elemental shifter the crystal that response to your element will glow and lift of the ground like earth is green, water is blue and white is air, and if you are a vogue all three of the crystals will glow and lift up."

Just as he was finished saying that the green crystal started to glow, then the white one and then the blue and all at once they started to lift up.

"You're a vogue and the most powerful one I've seen for the crystals to react that quickly."

Think, think Kayla think, what can I do, what can I do. I cannot let anyone know. Then I remembered what I did to the council member and my mom.

Then in the most powerful voice I said "you will forget about me being a vogue and you will enter me as a earth elemental and say it toke a minute to register me. You will also erase the time on the vogue entry and make a fake one for me. These headaches you will get you've had all day. understand." as I talking his eyes glazed over from being in a trance, my trance.

Then he responded "yes" and started changing this data of this test. It toke a couple of minutes for him to finish his task. Then his eyes went back to normal and it was like this never happened. "So here is a course guide and you need to check off at least one box in each section unless it says to do more or less. Please return it in before noon tomorrow. Now will you please leave I've got a massive headache that's been going on for a while."

I picked up the guide and left the room as quickly as I could but I stopped by the TV in the lobby to see another name added to the vogue shifters: Josh Kandell. Wow. He was the last person I would have thought was a vogue shifter, but that would explain why he was so cocky.

On the way to my room I'm thankful to say I didn't get lost, but I did ask for directions. Once in the dorm I saw in front of me an elevator and to the right of me room 1 and to the left storage. I start going straight then turn to the right and try and find room ten. When I do get there I find it would have been easier to go left since I would have only had to turn once instead of twice.

I stand outside my room for I while nervous about what my roommate will be like. I get the key card out and slip it in then pull it back out to unlock the door.

When push the door open the first thing I see is a dirty blonde haired girl spinning around on spiny chair laughing really hard then she falls on the ground and from the looks of it really hard and she's still laughing now even harder if that's possible.

Once she sees me she stops laughing and gets up. "How long have you been standing there?"

"Not that long. What were you trying to do by spinning on that chair? The only thing you might get out of it is a head injury which you probably would have gotten if not for us being shifters."

"I was trying to beat my record of 30 minutes for holding on to the chair while it's spinning without hands, which I did beat by 10 minutes. My name is Mimi Fox. I'm a water shifter. What about you?"

"I'm Kayla Kandell and an earth shifter. have you claimed a bed yet?"

"Not officially but I want the bed near the bathroom. Is that ok with you?"

"Yes I wanted the other one any way. Are those things suppose to a desk and a dresser?" pointing to a desk like thing but with big cabinets that I suppose clothes would go in.

"Yeah I think so."

"That's weird. I'm gonna fill in the course guide thing."

I open the guide and it showed:

All students already have been assigned shifter history 1, supernatural biology, basics of being a shifter, and martial arts. Circle your choices.

Everyone must pick one or two weapon(s) to train with:

*knives *bow & arrow *sword *staff

Extra-curricular class (pick one) :

*drama *band   *chorus *art

"Hey, Mimi what did you pick?"

"I picked Bow and arrow, and staff. Also chorus."

"I know I want to do bow and arrow and I want to do staff but at the same time I want to learn how to use a sword."

"Do what you want. I'm going to bed."

"Ok."

Since I know that I want to learn how to use a bow & arrow I circle that and I also think I will be good at acting so I circle drama. Now I just got to decide between sword and staff. I circle one blindly and it turns out I picked sword.

I put it on my night stand fluff the pillow and try to fall asleep. Staring at the blind covered window I see moon light come in and just as I fall asleep the light starts to turn red.
