Chapter 1 Ice Princess

Kim's POV

Dec. 10, 2001 at SM Mall of Asia..

Me and my family went to the Mall of Asia for some family bonding, si mom and dad and my younger brother adrian. Ako pala si Kimberly Alison Hammond, a rich princess of the hammond clan! yes ako lang naman ang kaisaisahang princessa ng aking pinakamamahal kong daddy na si Johan Red Hammond, im 12 years old and i can get whatever i want. And when i saw the olympic ice rink sa MOA, it made me excited to see all the great skaters there.

"I wish im one of them" as i sighed while watching the skaters do thier tricks on the ice. Napaka amazing nila, tsaka ang gagaling din nila. So i do what i always do when i want to achive something, always asked my loving daddy! at alam ko susuportahan nya ako! syempre daddy ko sya and he loves me alot! hehehe daddy's little princess nya ako eh! hehehe.

"Daddy? can i ask you something?" sabi ko sa dad ko while enjoying the performance of the ice skaters.

"Sure sweetheart what is it?" sagot nya with a smile on his face, god i love him he's the best dad a daughter can asked for.

" Ah kasi dad parang gusto ko maging ice princess katulad nila, so can i get an ice skating lessons??" i said to him na may kasamang puppy dog eyes, i look cute kasi eh when i do that to him and it always works!.

" Well it looks fun but also very dangerous sweet heart, i don't want you to get hurt" he said.

"I know daddy, but you know i'm always loving this sport, and i can see the consiquences i make take on this sport and im going to get hurt. As they said, No Pain, No Gain!" sagot ko sa kanya.

Alam ng daddy ko na medyo dangerous at prone to physical injuries ang sports na to, pero that dosen't stop me for making me do what i want to do. Ang mommy ko naman is sobrang supportive on anything that i do, kahit pa na medyo mahirap ang sports na to ay willing syang sumuporta.

"I think that kimmy can do this hun!" sagot ni mommy .

"I know hun, but im just worried that she might get injured out there" 

"I know darling but look at our daughter, shes got the spark in her eyes whenever she looks at those skaters, kung gusto nya itong gawin, i think we should support her, and plus ill enjoy making her costumes and make she look like an ice princess out there...im sure she will be a dedicated skater and will make us proud." She said it with a proud face!

That time na narining ko yan, i just had the happiest day of my life that both of my parents will support me to this sport!. And besides i think i will do whatever it takes to make my parents proud! its my own life motto and plus ive been admiring this skaters that been doing it since they were young, so i cant wait to meet them and get to know them!.

"Ok......she can do this!, but on one condition kimmy" dad said with a serious face.

"Yay!!! but what is the condition?" i asked.

"That you will never forget your studies and will never neglect your homework ok?" 

"Yes daddy i wont forget nor neglect my studies and homework! i promise"
