Even though we fight

Young love

I woke up to my annoying alarm this morning. I sat up and looked around it was a gorgeous morning. A little beam of light was shining through my window as walked to it. It had rained last night judging at the saturated ground. I walked to my closet and opened it only to be pleased with my outfit of choice. A Falling in Reverse t-shirt, red skinny jeans, and black converse. I decided not to do my make up today. I picked up my purple brush and brushed my thick, shoulder lengthed hair. I walked downstairs and instantly smelled bacon. I walked into the kitchen to see my dad cooking, my mom in her robe feeding my baby sister, and my older brother drinking coffee. I sat down at the table next to my brother.
"Hey Nick." I said.
"Hey Luna. Going emo today?" He asked nearly falling out of his seat laughing his ass off. I mocked his laughing and prentending to nearly fall out of the my seat. Mom butted in unfortunately.
"Stop arguing." She said. Dad came out of the kitchen with plates of bacon and eggs plus orange juice. My older brother and I ate about half of our plates and chugged the orange juice. We said goodbye and ran of the house and into the bus. My older brother being popular and all ran to the back of the bus to his jock friends. I found a seat in the middle next to Kady. Kady was a beautiful girl. She could have anyone she wanted. She is so nice though. Even the flowers love her. As do I. The bus smelled like cologne, perfume and sweat.
"Hey Kady." I said. Observering how her facial features indicated that she was happy.
"Hey Luna." She beamed. 
"Whats got you so happy this morning?" I asked her.
"The fact that my crush is now my boyfriend!" She exclaimed. I tried so hard not to laugh becaise I thought she was fucking around.
"Yeah I know but it is true." She said. Look at Zack back there with his jock friends. What a dick. He started to walk toward us. He smelled like axe and bagels. I hate bagels.
"Hey," He said.
"Hey," She blushed.
"Hello pig." I said. Kady pinched me and smilied.
"Bitch," he said.  He looked at Kady and laughed. Kady laughed with him, which i thought was re ally rude.
"Really you're not going to defend me?" I asked my eyes full of hurt.
"No you can take care of yourself." I rolled my eyes and moved to a different seat but not before warning her.
"Do not come crawling to me when you have a problem with him then." I said before sitting down with Bree. I did not talk to her for the rest of the day. After school I went to the field. I sat down and looked up and the sky. I put on my sunglasses so that I would not be blinded by the sunlight. This was our spot. Kadys and I's spot. We'd often come here to talk about our problems. I heard somebody coming so I decided to hide in the tree right by were I was laying. It was Kady and she was crying. I hopped out of the tree to see her turning around and meeting my gaze.
"What is wrong Kady?" I asked a but concerned.
"I though that you didn't care." She pointed out.
"I don't care about Zack but I do care about you. I am sorry. I shouldnt have said the things I did." I said.
"Barley dating a day and can't keep his dick in his pants." She said with tears in her eyes.
"Fuck him. I will make him pay." I said thinking of ways to destroy him. She walked over to me and hugged me. I hugged back. We broke apart and I felt her tense up and the kiss me. I pulled away from her.
"What are we doing?" I asked.
"Well I was hoping that we could kiss." She said batting her eyes.
"No I mean like what are we doing? I can't keep sneaking around with you. I love you. More than you could know and if you don't want me in a relationship then I don't want to be near you. I have been in love with you since the sixth fucking grade. And how old are we? Seventeen. I am a senior in high school. I am gay and everyone knows. And you are too but won't admit it to yourself." I nearly yelled.
"Well I didn't know you felt that way. I have always felt that about  you. I just never told you. And how could I hide it from you. You are after all gay." She explained.
"Well that closet girl stuff has to change. I want to show you off in public and I can't if you are to shy." I said.
"Fine. My friends here it first okay?" I nodded and walked over to her. I kissed her forehead and looked at her beautiful eyes.
"Come over and spend the night." I said. She nodded and pulled out her phone. She asked her mom and she said yes. We walked to my house when the sky turned dark grey. It started to rain. When it stormed it was normal. But when it just rained that means somebody died. Well our village is full of old stories that come true. Most of time. We looked at each other as her phone rang. She pulled it out and started to talk to her mom. She hung up the phone and collapsed onto the ground before could catch her. I saw a single tear roll down her face before she fell into a slumber. I picked her up frantically and carried her to my house. I burst into the front door and put her on the couch.
"Mom dad!" I yelled from the kitchens getting a wash cloth. They rushed into the room. "She just collapsed." I said in shock. My mom picked up the phone to call her mom. Once she had hung up the phone she started to cry.
"What is wrong mom??" I asked.
"Its her father. He died over in the war." She said as she started to cry.
"She just fainted from shock then. I will take her upstairs then and let her rest." I said picking her. I carried her to my room and set her down softly on the bed. I walked back downstairs to hear someone pounding on the door. I opened the door to a police officer.
"Can I help you?" I asked.
"Yes is Kady Lockheart here? Her mother has died." He said.
"Might I ask how her mother has died?" I asked.
"She had found out that her husband had died and had a heart attack. We are here to take her daughter to social services." He said.
"Well there is one tiny problem she turns 18 in about a month. She can live here. We are perfectly capable of taking care of her for a month. She is already an adult." I stated. He stared at me for a few mintues before speaking.
"Alright then. This is one out of three." He said walking away. I closed the door and went back to my room only to see Kady sitting up on my bed.
"Hey you just fainted. And umm I want to hold you when I tell you this next part." I said walking over to her. I sat down and wrapped my arms around her.
"Your mother died shortly after she hung up with you.. She had a heart attack and died." I said.
"Huh? What? Can this really be happening? B-both of m-my parents a-are d-died?" She said sniffling. She started to cry her eyes out.
"Come on let's go upstairs." I said. She followed me up the stairs slowly. Once we got into my room she looked at me.
"Would I sound rude if I said that I kinda of glad your parents died? I mean they were assholes to you. Your dad was a drunk when not fighting in the war and when he'd come home he'd beat you. Your mother did drugs and let it happen. " I stated.
"I dint want to talk about it." She shrugged. We ate dinner with my parents and ended up going back to the room to sleep off today.
