"International politics constitute relations and... ahm... Waaah!"

I've been memorizing this for about 30 minutes now but I still can't commit this to my mind. Focus Dara, focus. You don't want to have a bad reputation to professor Kwon, right?

Let's get married.

But how could I focus of it always pops in my mind.

Outgoing Call: Bom

"Yoboseo?"

"Ya!"

"Wae? Is there a problem?"

"Let's meet, please. I'm losing my mind right now!"

Bom hesitated at first since she's still not finished studying. But I know her so well that I triggered her weakness *coughs* food *coughs* for her to give in.

Bom and I decided to meet at one of the pojangmachas (a small tent usually ran by an ahjumma serving a variety of Korean street foods. It's where characters in korean drama hang out and eat street food and drink soju) in Namdaemeun.

"Stress eating?" Bom asked as I finished eating five sticks of odeng while she haven't finished one.

"He's getting married...." I mumbled with my mouth stuffed.

"Who's getting married?"

"Donghae!"

"Mwo?" Her eyes widened with what I said.

I took a shot of soju before I replied. "I saw him with a girl at the apartment where I live. And the girl said let's get married."

"Jinjja? Then what happened next? What's his answer?"

"I don't know." I poured soju to Bom's empty glass. "I already went to my room. Eavesdropping isn't my thing if I know that I will be hurt with what I will hear."

"Aish. You should have confronted them!"

I took another bottle of soju. I think one is not enough to temporarily ease the pain.

"He broke my heart once. I forgave him because I love him. We made up for our lost time." I let out a forced laugh. "I still feel giddy whenever I remember the good times." Then tears started to roll down my cheeks.

"Ahjumma! Soju juseyo! Kamsahamnida!"

"Dara, stop it. You're drunk."

"Anni..."

. . .

Aaaahhh! My head felt like crushing. I need a hangover soup. I suddenly missed my eomma.

"Aish. Get your act together, Dara!" I told myself as I slap my face.

I tried to get up even though I'm not in my hundred percent. I need to study even just a bit. My mom will send me back to Jeollanam-do if I fail.

"Dara..." I heard someone called me. I hurriedly went to open the door to see who's calling me.

"Annyeong haseyo!" Said Chanyeol who was flashing his bright smile. I was totally surprised to see Chanyeol going to my house this early and welcoming himself without asking for my permission.

"I brought haejangguk, perfect for your hangover. Where are your bowls?"

My mind hung for a minute. How did he know that I drank last night?

"Aish! Why does Bom tell everything to you?"

"Don't you remember what happened last night?"

He saw me drunk last night? Heol! I honestly can't remember everything that happened last night. All I know was I drank with Bom. How I went home was still a mystery. But how did he see me last night? Aish! Bom probably told Chanyeol again!

"Tell me. Did I do something shameful last night?"

But he just shrugged off.

"Chanyeol-ah! Jebal! Tell me everything you saw last night!" I knelt like crazy in front of him.

I was waiting for his reply but he seemed to be busy transferring the soup to the bowl he found inside the cabinet. Mind you, I didn't tell where it was stored yet he found it on his own. Was he a burglar on his past life?

"Yeogi. Eat this before it gets cold."

"Jebal!" I insisted.

"Arasso. But stand up, sit here and eat this. I'll tell you afterwards."

I followed his command like how a puppy follows his owner.

"Wae?" I asked as I saw him silently laugh while looking at me.

"Feels like I'm feeding a homeless who hasn't eaten for years."

"Ya!"

He continued to poke fun at me and at the same time, received a mouthful from me until I finished eating.

"Finished! Tell me now." I demanded.

"It's almost 7am. We have an 8am class, don't we? Hurry up. I'll be waiting for you outside."

Geez. What's the matter with him?

I rushed downstairs and looked for Chanyeol after fixing myself.

"Chanyeol-ah... Donghae?" I was taken aback when I saw them glowering on each other.

"What is he doing here? Didn't I tell you to stay away from this guy?" Donghae protested.

"And who are you to tell me what to do?"

"Ha? So you're on his side? I thought we are best friends?"

Best friend. Yeah right. I'm just his best friend. It's my fault that I assumed. Reality hit me big time.

Donghae held my hand and dragged me away from Chanyeol.

"What are you doing? Your fiancée will be angry if she sees us."

"Fiancée?" He looked at me with confusion.

"You're getting married right? Sorry for eavesdropping. Chukahae!" I pulled my hand off him. "Chanyeol-ah, gaja?"

. . .
