It was a humid summer day, in New Jersey, and piper ballet was not wanting to get up. "Come on piper! I made you breakfast!!" Her mom yelled. Piper groaned as she dragged herself out of bed, put on her slippers, and looked into the mirror to a unwanted bad hair day. Her hair was naturally curly dark brown, so she kept it into a pony tail all the time. It was sticking up EVERYWHERE! She just shrugged it off and dragged her feet downstairs to eat . " don't you look pretty this morning." Her brother tom said. "Shut up" piper told him with a hint of sass. He rolled his eyes at her and turned around to finish his food. "You know you both are in your teens, you need to be more mature." Mom scolded us. I rolled my eyes while looking away so she wouldn't see. I mumbled under my breath "you turned out the way u are now because of that". I slyly smiled at myself for the comment. "Come on you guys, you have school"! Mom said. Me tom groaned in pain. It was the worst day in the world: Monday. We eaten, got dress, and headed out the door.
