Hunter Hollingsworth paces back and fourth, his hand grasping onto the pistol in his bag. His heart was racing and his head was filled with many thoughts. They had to pay. They weren't gonna get away with this.
"Hey guys come in here," Tristan said as held the door to the council office open for the students. "You guys know what to do, line up on the floor," the students one by one line up against the floor, all of them looking worried. Hunter slowly back up towards the wall and sat against the floor. He studied the faces around him. Zig stared at him, shaking his head.
"You are so lucky Maya forgave me," he said through his teeth. "Other wise you'd be dead,"
"Zigmund! Now's not the time to be uttering death threats." Tristan told him. Zig scoffed.
"Whatever. This dude's a psycho." Hunters eyes twitched. An evil grin formed on his face. "What are you smiling at punk?" Hunter took a deep breath and pulled out his dad's pistol, pointing it to Zig. Gasps and screams of terror filled the room.
"Where the hell did you get that-"
"SHUT UP!!! All of you SHUT UP!" Hunter shouted. Tristan's eyes widened as he reached for his phone. Hunter lifted the gun up and pulled the trigger. The sound of the gun shot echoed through out the room, causing students to drop in fear. Tristan dropped his phone and stared at Hunter. Hunter walked over to Tristan and picked up his phone. He then threw it against the wall. The phone fragments fell to the ground.
"I don't think you'll be needing that, Mr. President," Hunter says as he points the gun to Tristan. Tristan sat there, not scared nor worried. He knew that Hunter had a little sanity in him. He knew that Hunter wouldn't shoot. Hunter's next few moves shocked students as he pulled the trigger.
Hi this is Tristan Milligan, please leave a message after the beep.
"What?" Winston said as he watched his best friend pace back and forth.
"He's not answering," he replied. "I'm worried...what if something happened?" Winston stood up and thought for a second.
"We need to call the police, Miles. I know you don't want to but our friends are in danger. Tristan is in danger," Winston tried to make Miles understand. But he knew that calling in reinforcement would just make Hunter even more mad.
"Okay," Miles said. "I have to go to the school," he stormed out of his brothers room and headed down stairs. Winston followed him.
"Dude! It's dangerous. Hunter isn't at the right state of mind right now. He could hurt anyone," Winston told him.
Miles grabbed his car keys and sighed heavily."I know Hunter won't listen to me. I know it's a long shot and maybe I'm risking a life by doing this but...I know someone who he'll listen to," Miles said as he and Winston got into his car.
Yael sat under the punch table, patiently waiting for instruction. The students in the gym were scared. They had heard a gun shot just next door ad they feared the worst. She turned to Baaz.
"I'm worried. Hunter was here earlier and he might be in danger. I should go check where he is," Yael said as she stood up. Baaz grabbed her hand, pulling her back down to the ground.
"It's too dangerous. Are you really gonna risk your life for that jerk? He pushed you!" Baaz replied. In some ways, he was right but Yael cared about him.
"Even though he's done some really terrible stuff, doesn't make him a terrible person. He's sad and he thinks we've abandoned him. He's my best friend and I have to go after him," Yael jerked Baazs' arm away and unlocked the doors of the gym. They closed them and stared out into the quiet and dark hallway. Where are you, Hunter? Theu thought. They ran down the hall, in search of Hunter. They tried every classroom but Hunter was nowhere to be found. Yael sees the exit and tries to push though the doors but it just wouldn't budge. Yael sits against the floor and starts to panic. Maybe this was a bad idea, I should back. She makes the decision to go back to the gym and suddenly heard footsteps near by. Their eyes widened and they let out a scream.
