So I was challenged by a friend to write short stories no more than 55 words long...Here is my first, lets see how close I can get!
Laughter, yelling, and shuffling fill the maze. She slips past each hulking form. Becoming a chameleon, she blends in. She reaches her destination and once through the portal, enveloped in blissful silence. She holds and opens a world before unfurling her hidden wings and soaring. Exploring she goes in this world hidden within these pages.
