Aisha's POV:-

"God! Please don't let me die here of hunger....I swear I'll never ever think of dieting"
Meera di groaned.

"Akhil bhai...I seriously don't mind eating y'all off and quaff your blood....I'm starving" Anika cried.

"You're doing that anyway"
Rohan mocked to receive a death glare from her.

"Woah woah...I'm  scared if you're serious" he replied in his usual teasing tone.

"Guys...I'm looking out for some decent restaurants. Don't make this had for me" Akhil bhai said in a little irritated tone.

And here I am my hands on side railing and my head peeping out to the world.

The climate is so hot draining all my energy
My forehead with drops of sweat..
My stomach grumbling with hunger
My eyes trying to shut themselves due to tiredness

But my mind...

My mind not able to accept the fact that I lost..

I lost a petty game with him.

Ughh...I hate myself for being such a dumb head.

"Look there's a dhaba" Disha di exclaimed.

Everyone of us snapped ur heads towards it.

We quickly got off the jeep and started walking towards it as if we found an oasis in middle of desert.

"How the hell I'm supposed to eat anything here...this place is so dirty and good knows how fresh the food will be" Rohan was more like telling to himself with his eyes filled with disgust.

"Oh so Mr.jerk is allergic to dust...I didn't expect you to be so sensitive" I said grinning.

"I'm not allergic to this..its just I might..."

"Oh you might fall sick to it? Oh poor Rohan..don't you worry...I'll be your doctor if you fall sick... Mr.DELICATE" I said stressing the last part and winked.

"Oh so you're telling you'd love to babysit Me?" He said In his foxy tone.

"Oh so you're sure you are delicate enough to fall sick?" I said with the same expression as him.

My smile grew wider when a scowl appeared on his face.

He grabbed my hand and literally dragged me inside.

Well this place was neater than I thought.
With 3 sides covered with hatched leaves, leaving the top open to let the  breeze come in gave this entire place a perfect village look.

The place has been neatly arranged with tables with only two seaters.

I noticed everyone of us splitting into couples and occupying seats.

Huh....so I need to sit with this jerk!

"Here's the menu mam" a waiter handed me the menu card and smiled courteously.

"Hmm....so I'd like to eat aloo paratha with dal makhani" I said.

"Sure.you sir?" The waiter asked Rohan who's finding it hard to adjust himself in this place.

"Uh? Food? I'd take...." He was about to place his order when I cut him off.

"Oh no. Don't worry about him. He won't take much. Just get him a coke or ha! Buttermilk. Yeah its more healthy. Get it for him" I said the last part smirking at him.

"Sure mam"

With that saying the waiter went off to get our orders.

"Why did YOU make choice of what should I have?" He hissed.

"Look.I've been to places like this before so I know what's the best" I mocked.

He gave me the 'haven't I?' look.

"No. You haven't" I countered.

He released a frustrated sigh as he had no more words to defend himself.

My happiness has no bounds as I made him speechless.
Yayy...

Soon the waiter placed our respective orders and I started digging into my food.

Out of no where, Rohan slided his glass of lassi towards me.

I looked at him confused.

"Well, Maybe you should try it. Who knows you never might never be able to finish atleast a  glass?" He said with challenging eyes.

"Seems like owner's gonna earn a lot today" with that said I gulped down the buttermilk as fast as I could.

Rohan ordered for more glasses of buttermilk and we kept drinking staring into each others eyes.

One after one...as we gulped down the buttermilk,

we felt our bellies to burst out at any moment

We felt our eyes welling up due to constant heat during our gaze

But most priorly, we felt or minds screaming not to stop and let them win.

"Huhh....I can't do this anymore." He said

I can't too but I need to win.

I NEED TO WIN.

I said that to myself and gulped down the one last glass.

I did it.
Yeah I did it.

It took me few seconds to breath.

I looked up to Rohan with a wide grin plastered on my  face.

He gave me a wicked smile and said,
"You won because I let to"

"I'd clearly know when you do that" i said smile not leaving my face.

"The game is still not over dear" he said with a wink and walked away Leaving me behind confused as hell.
