Chapter 1 ~1st day of summer.
3 minutes until the school bell rings 2 minutes now 1 minute BAM the bell rang! Every one ran out accept me I prefer walking but my friends think I’m a goody well I am I get perfect grades, I never get in trouble, I always stick to the rules and always will accept for this summer. This summer was different then all my other summers lets just say people seen apart of my they never seen before in there whole life. As I finally get outside I seen my friends already waiting for me but with a book? I knew they never read only for assignments but it was different. ‘Hey guys what is that? I thought you didn’t read I said sarcastically ‘Oh we just wanted to show you where we were going and we want you to come and you better not say no! Of course my friend Kourtney always has to make the decisions and get everything all because she is rich but she doesn’t realize that the whole school uses her accept me and my friend Destiny. As I looked it was about a cottage in Miami from where we all live. ‘ Um I don’t know Kourtney this summer I was suppose to volunteer at an animal shelter. ‘Oh please would you be over there feeding and washing animals then being at this cottage with a hot tub, huge plasma TV and much more! Please come last time you never did and the last other summer two and others before’. ‘ Ok fine I said frustrated I knew this would be a awkward summer from the start when she showed me the cottage. ‘ Ok where leaving tomorrow so pack tonight and get your parent to call mine oh and where taking my limo there so hurry bye’. As they both walked away I was already nervous was it only going to be me, Kourtney, and Destiny? Or will her older sister come will there be boys there? This is so different from the last summers I had! My last summer was a blast I went to math camp but then we had to come back early because some one had lice and it spread all over the camp so I volunteered for the animal shelter later on. But why not maybe this summer I should spend it with my friends but I don’t know how my parents would react. ‘ Hey mom I’m home guess what’! ‘I already know Kourtney’s mom called…’ ‘So can I go? Please.’ ‘Fine but be careful please go start packing. As I said my thank you I went upstairs as quickly as I can I got into my room and started packing my clothes, Bikini, Tooth brush, Accessories, First aid kit, Flash light , Cell phone, I pod touch and much more. I went to sleep early this time my curfew is at 9:30 but I just went to sleep at 8:00pm I couldn’t wait!
I woke up from my mom calling me saying Kourtney and Destiny are already here with the limo I couldn’t wait as I got my luggage and ran downstairs said my last goodbyes to my mom, dad and little sister . I ran out and went into the Limo as I looked it was huge there was so many snacks and drinks there and a mini plasma TV I couldn’t believe it until I turned my head in shock and heard Kourtney say ‘ I cant wait oh and Stacey your crush Josh is going to be there his cottage is next to mine where neighbours so enjoy you will thank me later’ ‘Huh Josh is there ugh’. I have been crushing on a boy named Josh but he never realizes me I’m Invisible to him. Ill just avoid him if I even see him like I would ever talk to him I always freeze up and all plus he is dating a girl names Marissa the head cheerleader and the most popular girl in the whole school and why would he want to talk and hang out with a geek like me?. ‘ Kourtney how long will it take to get to this cottage?’ ‘Oh Destiny it would take properly 2-3 hours depends on traffic…’ ‘ Ok then’. Wow 2-3 hours that’s kind of long but the hours past quickly since we where watching TV. As the limo driver stopped the car and got out to open the car doors for us I seen the cottage. It was huge bigger then my house
But then when I turned to the side I seen Josh walk out of his home with his walking towards us. ‘ Hey Kourtney, Destiny. And ? ‘ ‘ aggh lokdsjdnf ‘ I mumbled in embarrassment ‘ Um hi aggh lokdsjdnf? 'He gave a kind of weird look at me and started to laugh a little then he walked away. I seen my friends laughing to once I said that why couldn’t they back me up?! Now he thinks I’m weird. ‘ Lol that was to funny’ Destiny was just giggling a little ugh at that moment I felt embarrassed but I just brushed it off and walked into the cottage. Wow I said in my head this was a huge house it had everything ! I ran upstairs quickly to get my own room instead of being in a bunk. I screamed once I seen the room there was a water bed I always wanted a water bed and there was everything I would want in my own room! ‘ Stacey you ok we heard a scream? ‘ Yes, Destiny I’m ok its just that I never been in a house this big in my whole life well I have witch was Kourtneys house but there’s a kind of difference. Kourtney and Destiny where already inside I just went back out to get my last luggage until I seen Josh again. Until his girlfriend came out of her car and hugged him but then when she seen me looking she gave me a dirty look I was confused but then I got my luggage and simply walked away I knew she wasn’t going to ruin my summer!
Later on after unpacking I went to go hang out with Destiny and Kourtney outside in the backyard until when I walked out I already seen at least 4 more people there two more guys and two more girls. ‘ Umm Kourtney who are these people?’ ‘ Oh there my friends I knew since I was small like u guys but they had to go to a different school…’ ‘Oh and um Hi im Stacey and you are? ‘ ‘ Hi I am Melinda and this is Catherine, Gabe and Aeron. ‘ Oh nice to meet you’. As I walked to sit down I seen Gabe pull Aeron to the side to talk about something I wonder what it was about…? ‘ Do you think I might ever have a chance with Stacey?’ ‘ Um why Gabe? Do you have a crush already? ‘ Oh never mind your making things obvious..’. I was so bored just sitting outside I wanted to go into the pool like everyone else but I ate and I don’t want a stomach ach ha my new rhyme I thought to myself. As I walked in I seen Gabe watch TV I didn’t want to bother him so I decided to go for a walk. Until I slammed into Josh’s girlfriend Marissa. ‘ Watch it ‘ She said and again giving me that dirty look. What did I do? Am I a threat to her? But its impossible for to be a threat to her like im a geek and all she is popular, super rich, and much more unless she might think im a threat to her relationship with Josh but what harm can I do? Im not like her at all and I cant even speak English to Josh properly. Oh well as I carried on to walk I seen a few dark clouds so I decided to go back to the house. Luckily I did because when I got back it was raining like crazy sadly there was nothing to do when we got inside wow I thought to myself right now I could have been helping animals instead of sitting in this cottage with 4 people I don’t know and already having and enemy out to get me because she of course see’s a geek like me as a threat. Kourtney, Destiny, Melinda, Catherine and Aeron went to the basement to work out. While I stayed behind and watch TV until Gabe comes out of no where and sits down. Such an awkward moment. ‘ Hi im Gabe’ ‘ Yeah I know Melinda introduced you guys remember?’ ‘Oh yeah ha my bad um well I should go unless you want me to or I don’t know um I should go I guess’. I was so confused until when he ran and tripped over one of the feet of the couch but he got up saying im ok and went to the basement. He seemed really nervous around me that’s how I usually act around Josh because I like him and all but does that mean Gabe has a crush on me?
