CE- I walked down the corridors towards my new room in a new school, having to share a room with somebody was making me cringe, I quickly brushed it off and looked at my room number, "126 huh?" I say to myself as I swing open the door.
CO- I was unpacking the last of my boxes when I heard the door open, so I turned around and saw a guy. I walked up to him and say, "I hope it is ok that I already unpacked my stuff, I can move some stuff if you want?"
CE- "Oh uh, I mean it's okay like I don't take up all that much space anyway, I pack light." I say all in one breath, a little overwhelmed at the fact that I was going to have to talk to someone everyday from now on.
CO- "Ok cool, so do you want top bunk or bottom bunk?" I ask trying to be nice because this is going to be a long year for the both of us.
CE- "Uh bottom will be fine for me, i'm pretty down to earth." I say, throwing in a pun that was just right for the situation as I put my suit cases and boxes onto the bed.
CO-"Hey i'm going to get some food, you want anything?" I ask as I start looking for my keys and wallet. Once I found them I turned around and looked at you.
CE- "Yeah can I have a vegetarian burrito, I need to cram tonight so I should have some food that'll last me." I say, handing you some money and begin to unpack.
CO- "Ok I will be right back and if you need anything else here's my number." hands you a piece of paper " Don't have to much fun without me, be back soon." leaves and goes to my car and pulls out of the parking lot.
CE-I sit cross legged on the bunk and stare at the digits on the paper, revisiting each number perfectly back to front because i had nothing better to do.
-20 minutes later-
CO-I get all the food and head back to my car and drive back to the dorm. When i get back i open the door "hey i'm back here's your burrito and your change." I say as i climb up to the top bunk and eat my food and think about how I'm going to survive college.
