Chapter 12: The Sweetest Ending

A/N: As any other thing, despite every reason not to end any story, to start another is to end the other. Now Ashley and Nick's Journey will come to an end for now, i thank every single one of you who've read and like this first ever fanfiction of mine. I was having a hard time thinking how to end this, but i found the perfect time now. so without any further delay here it is.

There he was standing in all his glory, I know I’m over reacting, but I don’t really care at the moment. All I know is the man himself who’s responsible for making my heart race and skip a beat or more is standing at the doorway of my favourite coffee shop with nothing but a guitar in his hand and a heart-melting smile that says nothing but I-adore-you-so-much look.

“Look at the stars,

Look how they shine for you

And everything you do.

Yeah they were all yellow.

Her eyes, her eyes, makes the stars look like they’re not shining,

Her hair, her hair falls perfectly without her trying,

She’s so beautiful and I tell her everyday

He sang as he slowly walks towards where we are seated I can feel Gray move out of the way and stare at us with mixed emotion, and I know she’s having a hard time trying to keep it all in and not ruining the moment.

Now he’s standing right in front of me, looking me straight in the eyes, telling me he’s got nothing but pure intention through the songs he’s singing. I remember Gray telling me before that one of the things Nick would like to do for the girl he likes will be singing a song to her, but I haven’t heard yet if he’s done this before. If this is the first time, I’d be nothing but flattered, if there’s a word more than flattered, that would be it.

“But I’ll be there forever
