Revolution

The Beginning

I'm Standing by my sister's grave, I didn't think that it would ever go this far. My Mother and sister mean the world to me they're the most important people in my life.

Today is going to change my life forever, today i'm going to get my test score back. I don't want to get General the Soldier title would be fine because I would only have to go to school for 2 years but for General school I would have to go to school for 6-8 years and that is only the least amount of years you can go!!

Mother and LIza are standing right behind me I grab the letter shaking in fear I cut it open there lies my fait. I grab the piece of paper open it I see what it says I fall to the ground shaking in fear it say's i'm going to be a GENERAL!!!!! My mother see's what it says shaking in fear and sadness she comes to my side and hugs me tight. Liza does the same it's time to go tell Derek he's going to love this because he went to school for Soldiers.

I walk over to him he looks so excited I take a deep breath "Derek the results from my Prodigy test say that i'm going to become a General but I don't want to become one so i'm going to tell them that i'm not going."

"You are going to become one if the Prodigy test says so!" Derek asserts.

"Well sweetheart it looks like you are going to go pack they just offered a scholarship to Duke!" Stepfather implied, I fall to the ground sobbing.

The next day in the morning as we all were eating breakfast all of the sudden a soldier breaks down our door and screams "WERE IS VICTORIA CASSIDY!!!" my father pushes me forward, they grab my arm I start screaming Liza starts hitting the soldiers to let me free....... Liza HITS THE GROUND!!!! So I start yelling at them to let me go but they also push me to the ground and yell that I have 3 days to get ready. The soldiers leave my father is scolding me and Liza he leaves for work at the base.

A couple hours after they left I called Mother to tell her this I'm in the government office of the republic (were my mother works) "Mother I need to ask you something?"

"Ok sweetheart just fast I'm on a break." Mother breathed.

"Don't tell anyone or we will be in grave danger." I whispered, I hear some rustling in the background.

She went silent "Ok honey i'm in the most secure place so tell me."

"I'm thinking since I have 3 more days until I get sent to duke I think I might take you and Liza and hide in the woods to get to the Rebels to be safe and leave Stepfather." I whisper my mom goes silent.

"Well ok I will go with you and Liza we only have till tomorrow so get ready." Mother declares quietly.

It's been a day since the call we told Liza what's going to happen she agrees she doesn't want to be in the Republic without me. I pack up as much food as possible I pack some clothes and were off we only have a half an hour before Stepfather comes home so we have to go.

Mother, Liza and me head out I don't lock the door so Stepfather can get in. All three of us get to the gate that separates the rebels and the Republic.

All of the sudden "Hey what are you doing!" I usher mother and Liza with my stuff out there out but right when I am about to go through they grab my leg before I get pulled out I told them to head to the woods I'll meet them at the woods.

He takes my arm and takes me straight to the bus to take kids to the school I sit down and he whispers to the driver he stares at me it gives me goose bumps. I was the last kid to come on the bus, it's going and going. Until finally we get there I get taken by the arm really hard by one of the soldiers he takes me straight to my bedroom that i will be sharing with 10 other girls i have to get out of here the woods that my sister and mother are in are 2 miles away from school so i just have to be sneaky.

It's dinnertime so this is the time to go, I grab my backpack that I had before he took me, I sneak to the gate it get out because the guard is sleeping I start running.

All of the sudden I stumble into the woods running away from the school as fast as i can, I hear a soldier coming for me. I'm screaming my moms name they made a hideout here in the woods, I hear a scream it's my mother's scream!!! They must've caught them I Keep on running and running til I get to the hideout my FATHER IS THERE!!!! But it's not stepfather it's my REAL DAD!! He's holding mom and Liza what's going to happen to them!

    He holds the knife out drop mother to the ground, has Liza in his hand all of the sudden I hear a scream Liza is dead!
