The scent of cheap liquor rose in the air and music, randomly playing, filled the room enough to cover the carnal sounds. He slowly kissed the man's hips and moved up again to the torso as if to tease him. Three silent kisses on the body. A smack lost itself on the hairy . It led to a sword, something bigger than expected, sullied by the soft moisture that followed the kiss. Up. Down. The slow wrapping of the tongue savoured this particular taste. That of the liquor impregnated itself onto it, rising the pursuit of the condemned to a level of secrecy and desire that he neglected but felt as the intruder entered the depth of his mouth, beyond the teeth, up and down, right, higher again and deeper, deeper than expected.

'Aidan,' he murmured.

The sound of his voice was fragile. It retained a masculinity that underpinned his nature. The beast was not out yet.

Some Hours Before

'It's Friday finally. Mr. Roger's class on Medieval was tiring,' said Joshua to conceal the obvious embarrassment he felt since Aidan's confession. True, he was bored in class after the seminar. Yet, this mixture of emotions, the truth and the false, confused him. Aidan was his friend. At least, he had convinced himself. You can't force someone to love you.

'Yes,' Aidan responded, moving towards Jojo who was getting ready. He hugged him from behind. Jojo's warmth was something he had secretly enjoyed. Both blushed.

'Ah...uh...we should get going, right?'
Jojo's words- a mere escapism- were enough for Aidan to regain control. They up.

They had not talked much after his confession. Instead, both have tried, half-unreasonably, half-unconsciously, to mark a certain distance, a distance Aidan wanted to corrupt as the week passed by. Joshua did have Mark in mind. And Aidan had Joshua tormenting his. The Friday party in clubs was a mere excuse, a found pretext to gloss over the past, even though it was inescapable; to give another chance to words to re-adjust their friendship.

'Uh yeah, we should get going.'

The sweet smell of the dauntingly growing passion driven by some liquor troubled the mind. The beast went deep.

They arrived at the club with some other friends. Maria and David were an interracial couple. They had met in History class. Stephano was a Modern language student, always so out-going that he was verging towards dating a tutor. At last, Vicky came in. Her girlfriend was absent this time. Her purple hair instantly attracted everyone's eyes. She smelt like lavender. Aidan did too. Somehow he did not recognize his smell impregnated onto her, but Joshua in his timid move to avoid a step in love, surprising smelt the lavender that Aidan wore on his shirt too, a bit more masculine, firmer and stronger.

The music was loud. Too loud. But not louder than his moan. Joshua had had a couple drinks and when he saw Mark and Billy enter, he drank faster. Billy was his best friend. He was muscular, his looks less serious than Mark's. The latter was in his blue jeans that deepened his brown eyes. He did not notice Joshua but greeted Vicky who was gyrating with Aidan. His presence annoyed Aidan. Joshua felt it even if he was amazed by Mark's face. He did not know what to do. He did not do anything.

'So, how's the party?' asked Maria. She was tipsy and her make-up was becoming a mess. Aidan joined in.

'Good. Good. And you?' Joshua replied absent-mindedly until he was forced to consider the seriousness of the moment when Aidan replied: 'Good. Very good. For me.' He pulled closer to Jojo. Maria was laughing. The night was bluer than usual. The darkness allowed more stars, enough to beef Aidan up.

He pulled closer. He touched his lips by the fingers. Then his lips filled the gap between his. They were soft.

'What the..?' He yelled. 'Aidan,' he muttered.
Aidan looked down. He blushed. Joshua did too, but the redness in his face was mistaken for ire and the bitterness that ensued hid the bewilderment of Jojo. Somehow, he did not acknowledge this move as one of gallantry but as one which intrude his privacy, his choice; and while the idle idea of love could have been rising in the air, Aidan shut off. He apologized. He rushed outside. Jojo was to follow him. He hesitated but he started to move, confused, only to be retained by David.
