Eden's p.o.v
"Eden, you need to sleep," Cass begged.
"Actually Castiel, I do not," I argued.
"Eden, we can research for a little bit, it's okay, you can take a break," Dean tried.
"I could..." I nodded, not actually paying attention, as I was researching.
"Okay, then go do something, anything other than research, you've been at it for days," Sam voiced and I looked up to the sound of his voice.
"Wait, what are we talking about," I shake my head confusedly.
They sighed, groaning in frustration. I huffed and took my hands off the computer.
"I don't know why you're making such a big deal out of this, all I'm doing is trying to catch Lucifer. Plus, I don't need to sleep or rest or eat like you have too," I fight.
"Physically you don't need those things. But Eden, your mind can't handle this. You've done nothing but look through books and research on the computer for three days now, we're worried," Castiel explained.
"I'll rest when Lucifer is caught," I say with determination.
"Why are you doing this? Taking all of this on by yourself, it's like you blame yourself for him getting away," Sam responded and I froze.
I looked up at him with pleading eyes. Please, I thoughts, don't.
"Eden, do you blame yourself for Lucifer escaping?" Dean asked after a moment.
"Wait a minute," Cass ordered, Oh goodness, please do not do this. But he did, his voice continuing, "Eden should have been able to stop him, but he got away."
"Castiel, you cannot be seriously blaming her for this," Sam warned with an angry voice.
Castiel shook his head, looking at me with knowing eyes. I looked to Dean and Sam, both of which, eyebrows were furrowed. Their faces showing anger. I reluctantly gazed back at Castiel, who was now frowning at me.
"Eden..." He started hesitantly.
"Stop this Castiel, she couldn't help that Lucifer got away," Dean ordered, but Castiel just shook his head and continued
"Did you let Lucifer escape?" He asked.
My jaw clenched tightly, and I looked over his shoulder, away from all of the eyes staring at me. My hands now in fists, I forced my eyes back to Castiel. I did this, I have to own up to it.
I nodded reluctantly, looking into his eyes.
"Are you...." Dean hesitated, "Are you on his side?"
My eyes flashed to him in hurt. I glared at him. I know I've done something wrong, but for them to think I would betray them, after the trust I've put in them. My eyebrows furrowed at the simple pain I felt from that one phrase. I knew I shouldn't have let them know what I've done, now they don't trust me. My head shook vigorously as I denied the accusation, but that was all they got.
I walked out of the room stiffly, making my way to my room. They hadn't followed, probably disgusted by me. The only companion I had was Gust, he gazed at me in disapproval, but his eyes shown with sympathy. I reached under my bed and brought out a duffle bag. I put all of my things in it. It hadn't taken long since I only had a few belongings. I reluctantly looked to Gust.
