I heard the bang of the gun but no bullet hit me. I looked back at Calvin, pinaulanan siya ng bala ng mga pulis. With my tear-filled eyes, I ran towards Daniel. On top of him is Sabrina who's embracing him.

"I love you Daniel... Please don't hate me."she murmured between her heavy breaths.

"Sab. Sab. You'll be fine!" he panicked.

Tumayo siya at kinarga si Sabrina. Sinalubong siya ng mga pulis. They took her from him and rushed downstairs.

"Shrek. Si Shrek?"

I ran back towards the room. He's no longer there. Hugging myself while sitting down at the edge of the ambulance cart, I cried my heart out. Hindi ko napansing nilapitan ako ni DJ hanggang sa maramdaman kong niyayakap niya ako.

"DJ! He can't be gone! They can't be gone... I haven't even talked to them for weeks. Tapos..."hindi ko na natapos ang sasabihin ko, humagulhol na ako sa dibdib niya.

"Hey Chandria. What are you talking about? Your parents are here. Ini-interrogate pa nga lang sila ng mga pulis. And as for Yves, he's already in the hospital but he's still unconscious."

Lalo akong napaiyak bagamat gumaan 'yong dibdib ko sa sinabi niya.

"Totoo ba'ng sinasabi mo?"tanong ko sa kanya. Okay sina mama? Thanks God!

"Chandria, takot na takot ako nang malaman ko kagabing hindi ka nakauwi. Hinding-hindi ko mapapatawad ang sarili ko kung may nangyaring masama sa'yo."bulong niya habang nakayakap parin sa'kin.

Akala ko ay hindi na kita makikita. Takot na takot ako DJ. I'm so scared. I thought I'd lost you for good. I wanted to voice out but I can't. Even though he's still the one, he has always been the one, Yves needs me. And if marrying him will motivate him to continue living, I will be more than willing to spend the rest of our lives together.

"Yves needs me DJ. I have to go. Please tell my parents to follow me to the hospital." I muttered and walked away from him without looking back.

Tama lang 'tong gagawin ko. We're not just really meant for each other. May mga nagmamahalan lang talagang hindi kailanman magkakaroon ng pagkakataong sumaya sa piling isa't isa. We're destined to another person already just as I am to Yves.

Natawa ako nang makita si Yves na lumabas ng kwarto. His neck tie isn't fixed well. He frowned as I laughed at him.

"Halika nga rito! I'll fixed your tie. Ba't bigla-bigla ay hindi ka na marunong nito? You're the one who taught me to tie it properly."

"I don't know. I thought it's perfect already."he responded.

"Perfect? Shrek! It's messed!"

"I wish I could see her grow up Kath."saad niya habang inaayos ko ang suot niya. Napatigil ako saka tiningnan siya. "I'm going to miss you baby."
