Everyone was excited. My friend Jack, bouncing around in joy like a child. And my other friend Izzy, who had her eardrum explode, talking on the phone to the anoying elder.

"No Mrs. Wilten, I just haven't gotten that post card yet." She repeated loudly to the elder.

She hung up and rolled her eyes.

A week had passed and we all were doing a film of nature and what do not/do. It was the 10rd of july and we were so happy. The red head bought McDonald's and we ate. All of us watched a few minutes of 'the middle'. I checked the time on my old watch a hour later.

"It's 1:30am! Can you guys believe that?!" I said with a yawn.

I walked my friend up the stairs, through the hallway, and to the guest room.

"I'll see you tomorrow buddy." I say.

"See ya later." He says in a tired voice.

I hug him and walk back to the living room.

"Alright, thanks for letting me crash here tonight." She says.

While getting up and walking down the hallway and going up a few steps up the stairs, she heard a dragging noise.

"Oh god! Not him!" Jack yelled.

I fast walk to The guest room and I ask what the problem was.

"I saw this guy who had no face! no face." He replies shaking.

I look everywhere in the room but see nothing.

"You probably just saw a shadow. Don't worry, because there's nothing here to hurt you. There's nothing here in general." I said.

I walk to the living room and went to sleep fast. Only to wake up to hear a slight noise.

'It's just the house settling' I think.

I slowly fall asleep.

I get my sleep interrupted by a noise.

"I should check up on Jack."

I Get up and I see him. Sleep towards the wall.
Then close the door quietly and walk away. I once again go to sleep. I feel myself falling to sleep. Then hear a bang.

"Hey?" A small voice says in the silence.

I look over to my friend, with a scowl on my face which disappeared as soon as I see next. His eyes faded yet glassy. And what I saw next scarred me for the last year's of my life. His cheeks were cut like a unnatural jack-o-lantern look. Black Breath falling of his mouth. He traces a smile on my face and says

"You should smile more."

Then, collapses in a pool of blood.
My friend was grinning.
