Painkillers

Another newbie!

After we were done fighting and I went back upstairs to sleep, I grabbed Toby with me and went to bed. I fell asleep knowing that I'm safe and won't have to worry about any nightmares tonight. That's one of the biggest reasons why I asked Toby to stay with me.

The next morning when I woke up Toby was no where to be seen but Jeff was leaning against my desk with my book of poems that I was writing last time he was in here.

"Clouds blocked her view of what she finds to be beautiful and unknown, they blocked her view of the large mysterious black void that is dotted with colors and light."

I listened to Jeff finish the line. I looked at Jeff who looked at me with a frown. I looked away and stared out my window.

"Don't you even find what your writing a tiny bit depressing?" Jeff asked.

"No, to be honest I found it magical and truthful. I only write what I feel. But it reaches out to others because all in all, we all have similar problems. Some of us take it differently.. Some of us take it to heart and other wrap it up in anger. I just put down what other may feel but are to scared to show others or to scared to ask for help." I explained.

"Okay, I get that but whats with the stars and the sky? What does that mean?"

"Well if its a nice night out and you actually pay attention to the sky you can see the beauty it beholds. Why would anyone want to leave that? When I look up at the stars and see how beautiful it is, a calming feeling dawns over me. I feel like I can tell the stars anything and they'll listen to me careful. The stars always seem to shine brighter after I told them my problems."

I looked at Jeff after explaining about why I put the stars and sky in them. He seems to be thinking about something. He looks back up at me.

"So you think if someone reads this it would open their eyes to something that was hidden from their view?"

"Yes. Let me ask you this. Do you feel lighter after reading it?"

"Kind of."

"Why's that?"

"I don't know... Maybe because of the way you described the stars and sky."

"Do you want to watch the stars with me after our mission today?"

"Sure, but how did you know we had a mission today?"

"Cause your in my room while I'm asleep. Normally you'd smack me in the head and tell me to get up, but my book has seem to caught your interest."

"Oh yea.. Well get dressed I'll explain what our mission is when were walking to the portal, alright?"

"Yea sounds li-"

I was cut off by Jeff flicking me in the head. I glared at him.

"Just get dressed whiskers. And that was because I didn't smack you earlier."

He walked out as if nothing ever happened. I swear if he wasn't one of us I would've ripped him to sherds. I rolled out of bed and did my normal routine like I do every morning. Once finished i walked down stairs to meet up with Jeff at the door.

Ayee sorry for not updating any of these I'm in the process of writing the rest of the chapter for each stories in word then pasting them here (ノ^o^)ノ
So lets not kill me for taking so much time!
