Canada x Reader : Sledding

First oneshot and stuff, so yeah, enjoy!
Btw this was written for a friend of mine for Christmas because she loves Canada to death :3

Stuff you probably already/ should know:
(T/n) - town name
(Y/n) - your name
(F/c) - favorite color
(H/c) - hair color
(F/h/d) - favorite hot drink
Anything that is in '_', is the thoughts of the person.
Also, for those of you who don't know, Matthew/Mattie is Canada and Alfred is America.
And, for the last thing, everything in bold will be my sarcastic thoughts, yay!

3rd Pov.

It was a cold snowy morning in (T/n), and a pure, white sheet of snow covered the ground outside while small, white flakes fluttered down from the clouds. A groggy (h/c) girl sat up in bed wiping her eyes and yawning. She got out of bed and walked to the kitchen to get a drink and looked out the window. She nearly screamed bloody murder to find out that it was snowing. She completely forgot about the drink (Poor drink senpai ;-;) and ran into her room and shouted, "Yay, it's snowing!" while struggling to put on her snowgear due to her shaky hands filled with excitement. What was she doing, you ask, well, she was going sledding. It may sound silly, a 17 year old going sledding, but you never really know how fun it is until you try it. (If you're not 17, then you are now, congrats!) After throwing on her (f/c) snowpants, she threw on her matching winter coat and ran out the door with her car keys and phone in hand.

Nearly slipping on the iced over sidewalk, she got into her car and started the engine, while calling her best friend, Matthew, whom she calls Mattie for short. "Hey Mattie, do you still have your sleds from last year?" She asked excitedly almost jumping out of her seat. "Uh, yeah, why?" he asked nervously on the other side of the phone. "I'm coming over, see you soon." "Wait wh-?" Matthew was cut off by her hanging up the phone. Usually she was somewhat shy around people, but she's grown quite accustomed to her friend Matthew, who she's known for around 3 to 4 years long. She even developed some feelings for the cute, shy Canadian.

(Y/n) skidded her car to a stop and ran out of her car, almost sliding again, and ran to her friend's door. "Hey, Mattie, open up!" (Y/n) knocked and yelled from the other side of the door. "Hold on, I'm coming," Matthew said while unlocking and opening the door. (Y/n) took the opportunity to grab Matthew by the arm and dragged him into the house. "Mattie, get into your snowgear, we're going sledding." (Y/n) demanded her friend. "Okay, okay." he said putting his hands up in defence. "Now." she said shoving him into his room and shutting the door.

"Hey (y/n)!" someone said from behind the (h/c) girl, almost making her jump out of her skin. She turned around only to see Alfred, Matthew's brother. "Alfred, you almost have me a heart attack." she said putting a hand over her chest. "Sorry," he said with his signature grin, "I heard you were doing something fun and was wondering if I can go with." "Of course you can come, just put snowgear on and dress warm, we're going sledding." (Y/n) said, giggling slightly. "Yusssss!" Alfred said running down the hall and sliding into his bedroom almost sliding into the door.

*Another timeskip till everyone is ready because I'm a lazy butt *

(Y/n)'s Pov.

"Okay, everything is loaded into the car." Alfred said shutting the trunk to the small, (f/c) car. "Everyone buckled?" I asked. "Uh, yeah" Matthew said from the passenger seat. "Yup!" Alfred said excitedly from the back seat. "Alrighty then, park, here we come!" I said, starting the car's engine.

*Another timeskip brought to you by (y/n)'s quick, unsafe driving... XD *

"Okay, we're here." I said, parking the car at the park. "Whohooooooo!" Alfred shouted jumping out of his seat and grabbing a sled running to the park's largest hill. I was just about to get out of the car when Matthew stopped me. "Hey, uh, (Y/n)." Matthew said nervously, his cheeks turning a slight red. "Yeah, what is Mattie?" I asked. "U-uh, nevermind." he said rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "Mkay," I said awkwardly getting out of the car and grabbing a sled for Matthew and I.

3rd Pov.

"Come on Mattie!" (Y/n) whined while grabbing his arm and pulling him out of the car. "Okay, okay, I'm coming." he said trying to get out of the (h/c) haired girl's surprisingly strong grip. "Here," she said, handing him a sled. "Thanks," he said taking the sled.
