How i see the world

School

Recently, while wandering thru life, i started to think about our system. I heard a lot in the past that school is a brainwash facility but mostly from people who wasn't on the right pose to say it.

I was young and a bit more judgemental. I didn't liked to go to school either but i did it as every other person did it in my generation. I am from a third world country, Romania. That is actually a great thing. 

To make a bit of history, You know that romanian people aren't really saints. No, we use to say we have balkan blood in us. In the very old times, we was called the wolfs , as wild, as free and as fiercely when was to protect our land by others. And so we did during years and so we still do. The system they try to make us eat it, it doesn't stop us from going howling thru protests and thru our own personality. Even with our own gypsies, no matter how much they try to get on top of us, they will always stay at the end of our pack.  Not because of racism but because we know this is not their land. Co-living with them is the best word i can find for it.

Back to the school system, i saw randomly a video on internet about a mom, a simple humble american mom, talking in a video about the system in her ''O dear America''.

As any other parent that can afford,her daughter goes to a public school to get educated for a better future. But in the video, the mom was complaining about the way they do educate her child. 

One day, while children were at school, near by, was heard gun shots. The school decided to lock the children in their classrooms. Only for about 2 hours. Without to call the parents. After the children heard the gun shots. Locked. Hearing the bodyguards steps on the halls. After they been told is no need for heroism and everyone should look out for themselves. They are kids for fuck sake. 

The mom went to court with the fact that those kids, her daughter been terrified by the school and sadly, the judge dodged it with :

'' Whatever happens in school, rules, actions, is not the business of the parent.''

So after you leave the kid at school, you can go clean your hands. Your job as parent is done.  Also they want to make a full time school system, which is pretty scary to think as they already train good those children for those 4-8 hours per day.

At those 4-8 hours per day a kid doesn't learn only about the useless laws of math but also is taught to be a better ''dog'' :

-you learn to ask before you go to the bathroom

-you learn to don't speak while the leader is speaking

-you learn to raise you hand if you have anything to say

-you learn the sound of the bell, you hear the bell, either you go in class, either you leave the class.

-you don't learn anything helpful in your daily routine as banks, money, bills, taxes, etc.

-you learn things that the system wants you to know.

-you learn the competition between you and your classmates

-you are being tested as for what they taught you and not by what you actually know

-creativity is not an answer

-they learn you religion, the religion that the institution/country is working with

A funny part here i might add, as i don't know how it really goes a language class around the world except mine, is that in high school, at the language, they have symbolism.

To be honest , i don't think the people that wrote poems or stories now 100 years ago, did it so we can analyze their words and transform their ''love poems'' into something else. We know that the color green represents good as the red, mostly, is for bad, for stop, for not going forward. We are being taught all these without our permission , things that will always stay in our brain and our receptors will sense them just the way we been told. 

I don't see it necessary as a brainwash process but more like a dog training base.  I get it, is good to be in trend with the law and to have some knowledge, that is really ok but is not ok to learn only what they what to learn. Is not ok to be tested conform something you aren't meant to use it in your next 60 years. And is not ok to pass students that doesn't learn any of this but yet, they follow the institution rules, attending the school so they can be passed thru a merciful act of kindness.

Another interesting side of this part is that the more papers/ the more school you get to do, the more chances you have to climb on a financial/ VIP social stair. And there is the same process.  That's so useless as you make 20 years of proper schooling as in the end to do the same thing. If you'll give your true opinion about a fact a superior thinks or does, you'll be out in no minute. Then, i ask you, why do they learn us so many ''important'' things if at the end of the stair, in the big house, we are forced to keep our mouth shout and go blindly after the ones with the power.
