Hey readers! This is my first fanfiction so sorry if it's not very good. I like avatar: the last air bender and don't see a lot of fanfictions completed for this TV show so I'm gonna do one.

I've been in this hell hole since I was a baby and let me tell you it sucks! I'm locked away in a house where no one knows I exist; I'm forced to clean and am a servant for the devil. Or should I say devils. They are my 'parents' or what I like to call keepers of my prison. Oh I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Ariella; well that's what was on the note. I live in the fire nation capital and I'm 24, prime time for a regular person to get married but you see no one knows I'm here. I got dropped off on the door step of this tea shop before I could talk with only a note left in my basket. Back then the couple, Mary and Tosen that took me in was so sweet till they we captured and killed by the ex-Firelord Ozai. They were sentenced for conspiracy even though they did nothing wrong and then Mary's cousin; Lixen had to take over the shop as well as me, sadly. I was only ten when they moved in and ever since then I'm forced to sleep in the cellar where the storage is.

"Ariella! Get to work now and stop daydreaming!" I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the annoying voice of the devil. I sighed as I finished sweeping and began to go to the storage room to get the tea. As I walked passed my mirror I couldn't help by wince at my appearance. My hair was tucked away into a hat so you couldn't see it and I had a thin cover over my eyes so I could see but no one would be able to see them. My grey outfit was filthy and torn from all the work I do and my shoes were falling apart. I pulled up the long skirt to see my legs and my suspicion was correct, I was as pale as snow from not going outside. I knew I was taking to long so I scurried to get the tea and rushed back up the stairs to come face first with the wife of the devil, Sora, at the top of the steps.

"What took you so long?" I kept my posture together and fanned fake nervousness. Her face held a heated glare but it didn't affect me.

"I was making sure I got the right tea this time." I spoke low with my head down to not anger her any more. She huffed before walking off, probably to go see Lixen in his 'office'. I sighed in relief and walked to the kitchen where I began to make several types of tea when I heard the bell on the ring. I put the kettle on low as the water heated before walking out to the front of the tea shop.

"Hello, how can I serve you today?" I spoke with my eyes closed before looking at who came in before mentally groaning. It was a regular and also cousin of Sora. He was an absolute pervert and a**.

"I wouldn't mind taking a helping of you to go," he said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes as I tried to control my anger and attitude.

"Sorry, not on the menu. We sell tea, so what would you like?" His ego was affected I'm sure but it didn't reach his face.

"I'll take a cup of green tea and your number." I looked straight at him and said a no before going back to get the tea. I knew he frowned after that and I smirked. He has hit on me every time he comes in here and every time I answer with a simple no.

"Here you go," I handed him his tea before leaving to help another customer that came in. We were a fairly small tea shop so not a lot of people knew about it. Thankfully that meant I didn't have to go through the questioning looks I got whenever someone looked at me.

After everyone left and I finished cleaning the shop I went to the cellar after the sun set. I sat on my straw bed and sighed. I took the box I hid in the hay and put the tips I got today inside. A total of 3 copper pieces for today, which wasn't bad, went with my other savings. I hid it back in the hay being sure to cover it well.

I waited till I was sure the devils were sleeping before moving quietly. I changed into black pants and shirt. I let my hair down running my hands threw the purple strands. I also took the cover from my eyes letting my eyes shine in the dark. I looked in the mirror and smiled I spun a little as my floor bounced. My waist-length hair was a dark purple, I don't know why, and my eyes were a vibrant purple(picture up above change the eye color). I was born this way and they hate it because I'm unique. I shook my head as I walked to the far side of the cellar. I moved a block and crawled through the secret passage before moving the stone back. I flushed into darkness before sparking a flame with my finger. I navigated my way through the series of tunnels before pushing another block and exiting. I was met with the bright light of the full moon and smiled. I was next to a dried-out well that I exited from in an empty field a little ways from the tea shop.

Hope you all liked the first part. So, what do you think of Ariella?
