Chapter 4

Ariella's POV

It was closing time now and I was cleaning up. Tomorrow night the devils will return and I won't have enough to give them. Ugh only two people came in today and they didn't even buy anything. I was angry and I had to let off steam so I walked to flip the sign and lock the door when I saw someone approaching. I shook my head and locked the door, before going down to the cellar only to hear a big knock.

"Hello? I know you're in there! Please it's urgent!" I growled under my breath and stormed back up the steps. I knew he wouldn't leave if I didn't do something. I could do some firebending and scare them since it's not abnormal. I mean I live in the fire nation plenty of people firebend.

"What do you want? We are closed!" I didn't realize how angry I was till I snapped. Oh well too late to go back now. The guy was shorter than me and had his hair in a wolf bun like they do in the water tribe. Oh no don't tell me they are...

"Open the door or I'll break it down!" I sighed and backed away as I opened the door before quickly shooting fire at the guy. I heard his scream of fear before my fire was put out by someone. The guy had his hand covering his face and he slowly looked up before sighing in relief only to jump left when I shot another fireball at him. I ran to the cellar quickly being sure to lock the steel door before running down and going through the tunnel.

Katara's POV

I quickly put out the fire as it shot at Sokka. I was on the roof above the door while Toph was hiding next to the door with Zuko and Aang on the roof. Suki was hiding on the other side of the door. When Sokka Jumped to Suki a fire ball shot out but I quickly put it out with water from my pouch. We all ran inside when suddenly Toph stopped.

"Wait there is a cellar under here. I feel something else though it's like a passage or something and it leads that way." She pointed left towards the outside of the city.

"We have to go now!" We all ran outside and through the gates of the city as Toph followed the path underground.

Ariella's POV

Oh no oh no oh no! I'm gonna get caught I have to go. I quickly went through the tunnels using my airbending to go faster as I crawled. I jumped out of the well and went to make a run for it but was stopped by a giant flying bison. I glared at it before asking politely for it to move.

A/N (When she talks to animals she talks through her mind so no one can hear her. Writing like this is when she is talking to animals)

"Please move I can't get caught." It looked at me wide eyed before slightly shaking its head.

"I can't I'm sorry you must not go." I sighed sadly and turned around to be cornered by six people. I put my head down as I fixed my hat and the cover over my eyes.

"Who are you?" I glared at Sokka causing him to slightly go back.

"Who are you?" I asked with a little bite. I was still angry and being surrounded was not helping.

"You know who we are." I looked at Toph and stood taller.

"I know who you are and I don't care I have done nothing wrong. Now if you will excuse me I have to go." I asked the bison to move again and it shook his head.

"Of course you won't move why not." I muttered to myself as I was about to use my fire to push me into the air but was stopped by two rocks coming at me. I quickly moved out of the way with a flip so I wasn't crushed. When I landed I created a fire ring around me as I stared at the people around me.
