"Ew! She's so ugly."

"Dump her and date me! I'm so much better."

I scrolled through the comments on the most recent picture Matt posted of us on Instagram. I knew I wasn't the prettiest or skinniest girl out there, but was I really all that people were saying? My trail of thoughts were interrupted as two arms swooped me off my seat and spun me around.

"Hey Matty," I said, a smile starting to spread across my face at just the sight of him. As he set me back down on the couch, my phone slipped out of my hand and crashed onto the small rug surrounding us. He picked up my phone, and quickly scanned the page of comments I was reading.

Matt sat down next to me and pulled me into a hug. "Luce, you know those aren't true. Now, I have to go catch my flight. And no more looking at the comments! Alright?" He quickly winked and kissed me on the cheek before getting up to go. I stood up with him, and gave him a bear hug.

"I love you, Matty."

"I love you too, Luciloo."

Beep! Beep!

I ran out of my house, careful not to trip down the steps. I couldn't call it a house really; it was a mansion. It was wide enough to fit 20 cars across, and towered high above any of the surrounding homes. I slowed down before climbing into the car waiting for me.

"Hey Sky." I said, smiling at Skylar, who was slowly puling out of my driveway. Skylar was my best friend. We had known each other since we were eight, and we bonded over our obsession over clothes, boys, and Barbies. She was pretty tall, and her dark brunette hair was always in naturally bouncy curls. Her and I basically ruled the school. It kind of sounds cliche, but it was true. We were known for our awesome Friday night parties, and our super hot boyfriends. Skylar usually had a different boyfriend every week, but Matt and I had gone on strong for almost a year.

"What's up?"

"Nothing much. Matt left yesterday." I answered, bringing the buckle across my newest Gucci sweater.

She gave me a look of sympathy. "Wow. It seems like he leaves almost every weekend these days. Do you ever, ya know, get jealous, of the fans?"

I shrugged. I mean every once in a while, I was a tiny bit envious of all the girls putting their arms and lips all over Matt, but I couldn't let Sky know that. "Not really." I answered. I knew Matt only wanted me, so why should I worry?

Hey guys!

So there's Chapter 1! How do you guys like the Lucy & Matt chemistry?

I'm trying to make Lucy a tiny bit stuck up, but still have her be overall sweet. I'm going to do new POVs almost every chapter, but overall I think the only POVs will be Lucy and Matt. Another character you haven't met yet may have one or two chapters as her POV, but I'm not sure yet.

Leave feedback! Tell me what characters you love/hate!
