Before we met, I never knew love and kindness during those dark times of my life as a slave, but then you recused me.

I was so surprised that you, the Second Imperial Prince himself, saved me when I did not even call out for help.

You took me to your palace, not caring that I was so filthy and covered in dust and dirt. You had your servants groom me and cloth me properly, then assigned me as your personal assistant for your war councils due to my unusual intellect and good manners.

I thought the princes of the Kou Empire were so cruel and such savages, but those were just rumors. I was so overwhelmed by your kindness by taking me from a lowly slave to a prince’s assistant, and it was a huge honor.

As few years went by, I was always by your side and already prepared myself to help you in any way. I did get jealous whenever some princesses came another country, tried to woo you. That made me realized that it is I who wanted to be with you as your wife.

I wanted to confess my love to you for so long, but you and your brothers were exiled. I tried to protect you, but I was so weak and I wanted to become stronger. My heart ached so badly at the thought of you not being at my side.

When you returned after three winters, I almost did not recognize you, and you confessed your love to me to my surprise. You told me that you could not stand another day being away from me, not being able to hear my sweet voice, and not being able to see my gentle smile any longer.
