"You got two black eyes from loving too hard
And a black car that matches your blackest soul
I wouldn't change ya, oh
Wouldn't ever try to make you leave, no"

I continue belting out the lyrics to one of my favorite songs as I hold a hairbrush in my hand and dance around my room. Currently it was 6 pm on a Sunday night and I just had too much energy to even think about going to bed. Plus, I needed a distraction from the rest of my summerwork. Believe it or not some people call my a nerd, but I'm really just someone who enjoys getting good marks. Sorry for trying to get an education.

Keeping up my Panic! at the Disco concert, I bop my head and spin around, only to look myself straight in the mirror. The tank top I had on has risen up and my spandex were most definitely up my butt. This is what I call comfy. No, I, Aveline Marie Blake, was anything but a slut. As I recall, someone called me a prude last week but it didn't really hurt me because at least I don't have STDs like they probably do. This was just what was comfy to me. And sweatpants, but it's too hot in this house for those right now. Aside from my clothes being disheveled, my hair was a mess. Tiny dark brown flyways were everywhere, and my ponytail was very loose.

This is what happens when you have soda and candy and binge watch "Saved by the Bell" on Netflix. I would not recommend it when you have tests in school the next day...but a little break never hurt anyone.

All of a sudden my music stops, and my phone almost buzzed its way off my desk. A huge grin spread across my face when I see that it's my best friend, Aiden.

"Hellloooooo." I giggle at his silly greeting.

"Hey Aid, what's up?" I belly flop onto my bed and drag a pillow underneath my chin to support my head.

"I was wondering if your majesty would like to go get some pizza with me?" I smiled because he knew me all too well.

"And what makes you think that I would drop everything I'm doing and go get food with you?" I tried to sound as mad as I could but again, he knows that I'm as threatening as a tiny Labrador puppy, but only when it comes to Aiden. If there's food involved that's a different story.

"Aveline, I know for sure that you are procrastinating and doing anything but finishing the physics notes you should have finished back in July. Don't tell me you've eaten already either, because I also know your mom got switched to the night shift." I roll my eyes and mumble a barely coherent 'fine' into the phone. "Good because I'm 5 minutes out and you better be ready when I get there." He chuckled as I groaned and got up to throw some real clothes on.

"You're lucky I love you buddy." As I go into my closet and sift through piles of clothes to find some jeans and a decent shirt.

"Pft, love? That's what this is?" He knows he's being ass right now. Aiden is always the one getting me to live a little more and open up.

"I dedicated 6 years to this friendship, and haven't kicked you're rude butt to the curb yet. I don't know what that is to you, but I call it love." I relax a little when I hear his hearty laugh come through from the other end.

"I know Ave, I know. Love you too girl but hurry up I'll be there in 3!" Quickly hanging up, I go to the bathroom and change into a pair of dark wash jeans, a black long sleeve (thermal) shirt and a pair of fuzzy socks. Rapidly brushing out and throwing up my long hair into a half up half down messy bun, I bolt down the stairs and hear a honk coming from the driveway. I pull on my UGGs, grab my clutch from the counter, and lock the door. I shoot my mom a text saying that I'm out getting pizza and she told me to have fun and make good decisions then come home and get to bed because school starts tomorrow. I can't promise her that last part because I'm with Aiden and he's what you call...a go-getter. He's very outgoing but can be down to earth and shy when he wants to be. But overall he's very out there.
