The sunlight beamed through the slightly cracked curtains. The sound of hushed footsteps seemed to be inching closer and closer to my bed. I strained my eyes blinking slowly to look up at the person. As my slightly foggy vision cleared, my 14 year old sister Robyn appeared in front of me with a mischievous look in her eye.

"Wake up sis.." She lightly shook me attempting to get me up and out of my bed. I narrowed my eyes at her not sure of what she was attempting to do. I closed my eyes, drifting back into my sweet slumber.

"Okay fine, be that way then.." Robyn trails off.  I unexpectedly feel a freezing cold liquid run all over my entire body. I awoke abruptly and got up from my bed with my soaked curly hair, clothes, and sheets. I can not believe this bitch just did this right now. She is dead, so dead. Sprinting down the stairs I finally catch her in the door way of the kitchen.

"I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL GET YOU BACK FOR THIS, AND TRUST ME IT WILL NOT BE PRETTY!" I practically scream in her face gripping her by her collar. You can see her pupils dilate at the fact that I just exploded. I usually am quiet and stay out of the way but do not ever expect me to take your shit. If you disrespect me expect disrespect back.

"Loghan Paris Stevens if you don't let go of your sister right now, you are gonna be in big trouble". You see that was my mom.

Amelia Stevens the most hardworking, brilliant mother I have ever seen. She had the most beautiful chocolate brown eyes and the perfect dark complexion, with short black hair that framed her face perfectly. My sister has black colored eyes with shoulder length hair and a nice complexion. I was sort of the odd one out while I am still dark skinned, I am not as dark as my sister nor my mother I am a slightly lighter glowy complexion. I have waist long curly brown hair and light hazel eyes. I am pretty short for being 18, I stand at a height or 5'2. My mother and sister stand at a height of 5'6.

My mother works practically 24/7 and tries to provide as much as possible for the family. My dad, isn't in the picture and never is going to be in the picture. My mother may be sweet, but she can be hella scary when she wants to be.

I soon let my sister go and she scurried off to her seat at the kitchen table. Sometimes I really hate that kid. I slosh to my seat across from her snatching one of her pieces of bacon in the process, munching as loud as possible taking my seat.

"Hey that was mine.." She pouted. I just stuck my tongue out at her as my mom came in with a small smile playing on her lips.

"YOU WANNA FITE ME BRO?" Robyn yelled jokingly standing, also slamming her hands on the table. I stand also, we both slightly glare at each other. We stick out our palms, slamming our fist against them. She soon throws scissors while I throw a middle finger her way.

"WHAT THE FU-" Robyn was soon cut off by my mother.

"You better not even finish that sentence young lady." My mom says sternly, not even caring to look up from her plate.

"Bitch.." My sister mumbles under her breath giving me a sly smile. I smile back at her continuing to eat my breakfast and thinking about how bad today is going to be. I have to go back to my group of friends, population 1 and to studying, I ABSOLUTELY hate studying. I practically do it 24/7 because I have no where to go and that is how I pass my free time, I know it's stupid.

Why do something you loathe so much to pass the time. Because guess what, it gets me good grades in school. I want to go somewhere in life and do something that I love, but I still don't know what the thing I love to do is.

After breakfast I slosh back to my room and see my still soaked sheets and comforter. I sigh as I grab everything off of my bed and begin to carry it to the laundry room.

"Stupid ROBYN, soaking my stupid SHEETS, now I have to go to stupid SCHOOL." I angrily mumble to myself. I stuff everything into the dryer and head back to my room to take a shower and get dressed. I grab my black sweatshirt that says "Squad" on it and some faded, ripped jeans.

I take a shower and brush my teeth and hair, grab my shoes, book bag, and phone to soon leave the house. The school isn't that far away from my house so I walk everyday it's maybe a 10 minute walk. As I am walking and I am 5 minutes away I see someone moving into a near by house.

I see a woman, maybe in her mid thirties carrying a huge box. Being the person I am, I walk up toward her trying to help.

"Ma'am, Ma'am. Do you need help with these boxes." I say slowly taking the box from her just in case she said no.

"Oh yes please it goes in the living room, my son will take it from you, oh here he comes now. " I continue to move toward the person my eyes not being able to see who is in front of me.

"Here let me take that for you Dollface." This boy said huskily. Who the hell is this guy. He actually kind of sounds familiar. I give him the box as he sets it down on the porch. When he turns around to face me again I can not believe who I am looking at.

"Loghan?"

"El?"
