Three years Later

I just picked Natalie up from School and was heading home when my phone rang "Hello?" I answered "Hey Babe you Nat from school yet?" David asked "Yeah I just dropped her off, Why?" I asked "I was gonna ask if you wanted to meet up for lunch" i thought about it "Yeah where at?" I asked "Denny's"  I looked and saw I was about to pass it "Alright see you soon" I smiled "Love you" he hung up, I looked in the mirror "Hey wanna get some lunch?" I asked Natalie "Sure I guess" She frowned "What's wrong bug?" I asked "School's just been a pain" She looked at me "I remember how school was, Don't worry you'll get through it" I smiled, she nodded and continued looking out the window, in Just three years she's grown so much, she's actually growing up to fast if you ask me

"Hey sorry we're running a little late" David hugged me, him, Tyler, Jenna and Josh sat down "So how was school today?" David asked Natalie "Okay" She had her arms on the table with her chin resting on top "She said it's been rough the past few days" I looked at him "Oh I see" David leaned back, he reached in his pocket and got out a couple dollars "Here go play that Claw game" He handed her the money, she took the money and walked over, soon she came back with two teddy bears and we all ordered "So how's you day so far?" I asked Tyler "Good, were heading back on tour in a couple months so" He shrugged "Can I go?" Natalie asked "You have school Nat" David looked at her, she huffed and laid her head back down on her arms "How about if you get through the school year I'll let you go" David leaned forward "Wait really?" she asked excitedly "Yeah" He smiled "Sweet"  she smiled and leaned back

We went home and Josh was sitting helping Natalie with home work while I was baking cookies "Hey" David came over and wrapped his arms around me "Hey" I smiled "What ya doing?" He jumped up and sat down on the counter "What does it look like?" I chuckled, I had flour all over me, he got off the counter and dragged me into the living room "Guys I wanna say something" He smiled, he got down on one knee and pulled out a small box "Alice will you marry me?" He asked, I quickly hugged him "Yes I will" I smiled, he put the ring on my finger and Jenna came over "You did good" She pointed at David

Next Morning

I Dropped Natalie at school and stopped at Dunkin Donuts, I just got back in the car and started heading towards the store to get stuff for dinner tonight, I pulled into the parking lot when my phone rang "Hello?" I answered "Is this Miss Joseph?"  some lady asked  "Yes who is this?" I asked "I'm Mrs. Simmons Natalie's Principle" She spoke, "I tried getting a hold of David but he didn't answer" she added "He wasn't feeling well so I told him to sleep inn, Is everything alright?" I asked "Miss Miles got in a little argument with another Student a few moments ago and wanted to know if you could come to the school" she didn't sound to happy "I'll be right there" I sighed "Alright see you soon" She hung up, I sighed and made my way back to the school

I soon got to the school and made my way to the principles office, I walked in and saw Natalie sitting there "Ah Miss Joseph your here" She looked up she then explained that some her and some girl were fighting about some band and Natalie threw a few punches, She then told Natalie she should go home and think about what she did, we went home and Natalie tried sneaking to her room  "Don't even think about it Missy" I crossed my arms "Wait what happened? Why is Natalie home?" David asked walking downstairs "Natalie ot in a fight at school" I looked at him then back at her "I was defending Tyler and Josh, Some girl said they sucked and she started going off on them so I kinda punched her" She looked away "Nat, just because some girl doesn't like Ty and Josh doesn't mean you go punching them" I kneeled down "I don't have to listen to you" She mumbled "Natalie don't be such a brat" David raised his voice "Well I don't have to" She crossed her arms "We're going to be married soon so your going to have to at some point" David was getting mad at her "Babe calm down" I Walked over and placed my hand on his shoulder "She need to listen now that we're going to be a family" He looked at "She's not my mom nor she ever will be!" She ran to her room slamming the door.
