There I laid, blood pooling around my small body, walkers surrounding us. A single tear slipped from my eye as I kept my eyes locked on his. He stared back at me, tears forming in his eyes, face written with worry and pain as the walkers closed in on us.
"C'mon! Let me help you." He whispered,
"No, just go. I won't survive this, but you will, you'll beat this world. Go. I love you."
"I love you too."
He stayed put. Not even moving a finger. The blood thirsty monsters closing in on us, finally breaking our gaze.
