- Chapter 5.

"You ready to go?" Vic asks me as he walks up to me. School was over, and that meant Vic was coming over to my house.

"I thought you rode the bus today?" I ask Vic.

"Yeah, I meant are you ready to get on the bus?"

"Oh, yeah. Sorry, my mind has been all over the place today. Do you have your note to ride the bus?" I ask.

Vic nods and pulls his note out of his pocket. After he showed me, we walked out of the school and onto to the bus. As we got on, Vic handed the bus driver the note. "I'm going with her today."

"Oh, Diana, new boyfriend?" Cristian smirks and raises an eyebrow.

He was so annoying and he never knew when to keep his mouth shut. "No, Cristian. He's my friend and he's coming over to rehearse."

"Oh, what kind of rehearsing?" Cristian winks at me.

"Oh my God, Cristian. Could you shut the fuck up for, like, two seconds. God damn." Savannah butts in.

"Damn, sorry." Cristian says and turns away from us.

I look to Savannah, "thanks."

Vic and I sat to the seat across from Savannah. Vic sitting by the window, and me to the aisle.

"I could swore you drove to school today?" I look to Savannah.

Savannah shakes her head, "Dude, your mind has been all over the place today."

I shrug. Then, finally, the bus starts to take off. I felt like this was going to be a long bus ride.

"So, Diana, you actually have friends?" Cristian turns to Vic and I.

"Yeah, more than you will ever have. And, yeah, you don't have any." I sass to Cristian.

"Fuck you." Cristian laughs.

I look to Savannah and she rolls her eyes. "Cristian, I really doubt she would take that offer from you."

Cristian laughs again. "Fuck you, too, Savannah. And, what's your problem today?"

"No, Cristian, I don't want to do that with you. And, people like you are what my problem is today. So, please, just shut up and leave Diana and Vic alone."

After Savannah finally got that off her chest, we were at Cristian's stop and he got off.

Vic grabs my hand, looks at me and smiles, then looks to Savannah. "Thank you."

Savannah just nods her head smiles.

Vic tightens his grip a little bit on my hand and I turn my head to face him, "Are you okay?"

Vic nods, "Yeah, I just want to hold your hand." I smile as he says that.

I then hear a little awe coming from Savannah. "Sorry, I just thought that was cute. And, you guys just look cute sitting there together."

Vic puts his arm around my shoulder then answers back to Savannah, "We do, don't we?"

Vic's POV —

"You can just put your backpack on my bed. I have to go to the bathroom. I'll be right back." Diana says before exiting her room.

I sat my backpack down and look around her room. Band pictures on her wall and door, writing all over the back of her door, and just a bunch of neat things.

"You know she likes you?" Julian and Isaiah bring me out of my thoughts as they enter Diana's room.

I smile, "Yeah, I know."
