I was never the one to be popular. Never the one to be praised not like Sarah , Amanda and especially not Alexis. I was ALWAYS the nerd at the front minus the glasses but you know....
The intelligent one.
The nice one .
The one the popular dummies give their homework.
The GEEK.
The teacher's pet.
Believe it or not that was about to change .
It's gonna take some work but it has to .
I am DELORIS ANDREWS and I am not a geek ANYMORE.
**The Beginning**
BEEP BEEP BEEP I got up to the sound of my alarm clock exploding in my ears. "FUCK"i yelled getting up and rubbing my sleepy eyes.
I went into my bathroom and to a warm shower before hurrying into my bedroom so I could get dress.
I put on some skinny jeans and my usual white t-shirt and a new pair of white adidas shoes to finish my look by putting my blonde hair in a simple ponytail and a little lip chap to give my lips some extra shine.
I hurried down stairs to the kitchen to get some cereal before taking up my back pack off the wooden counter.
"Mom am leaving"I yelled opening the front door.
"Bye hun"she said as I shut the door and was off for my usual 5 minutes walk to Meadowbrook High.
After a couple minutes I was pretty close to school when look who it is Miss Alexis Summers the one and only.
"Hey Nerd need a ride"she choked out laughing. This wasn't the first she has asked that question so I didn't reply . I just continue walking.
"Hello am i speaking to my self here like do u not hear me talking" she yelled .
"Oh hey Alexis no thank u am fine walking"I replied nicely . After all they say kill em with kindness.
"Uh I dare she reject me did u hear her babe "she said to Blake then shot me a death glare.
As the car speeds up I feel a warm liquid hit me then a plastic container .
I look down at my once white blouse and it's now brown.
"This is ridiculous uh I can believe this " I yelled entering the hallways .
"What happened to u " Sarah said as I opening my locker and grumbling.
"Mmhhmm" is Sarah Gomez talking to me ahhhhh .
"Ammm that that Alexis girl once again spill coffee on me because I refused to take a ride with her"i said mad at the fact that I don't have an extra shirt.
"Classic Alexis huhh" she replied giggling a bit at my scrunched up face.
"Yea I guess" I mumbled almost crying.
"I think I can help " she said smiling.
"Really"I replied happily.
"Sure" she said "follow me to the girls room" she continued walking away.
I followed her until she opened her bag and took out a sleeve less white half shirt with " Adidas" written on it and the sign drawn in black.
"Uhhm I don't think this is my style Sarah "
"Chill Deloris it's just for today plus u'll look HOT " she replied smiling at me.
"I don't know Sarah"
"Just try it and if u don't like it u can always take it off" she said nicely.
Who knew Sarah was so nice.
"Ok"
I put it on then stared at my once cover up skin showing.
"See u look hot " she flashed a million dollar smile then continued "plus it matches with ur shoe"
"Ok I'll wear for today plus I dont have a choice do I? " I said look at my self in the mirror.
As we left for class I said a quick bye to Sarah and walked to Biology.
"Hey Deloris ! U KNOW I think we're going to be the best of friends soon " she said running down the halls to the Chemistry Laboratory.
Well that new .
