Adrien slowly entered the front room of his old home, the dusty walls and shelves of books making the room stuffy, nearly making the cinnamon child sneeze. Adrien sighed, unaware of what could happen.

"Hello?" He called out into the void of old pain and suffering. "Nathalie? Father? Gorilla?" But there was no answer, simply silence that made Adriens ears ring so he heard something. Sighing, Adrien decided to grab more of his own belongings before anything else. Adrien stepped towards the stairs slowly, his feet carrying him down the familiar path he had walked so many times. His hands reached out towards the cold, dusty metal used as a railing, the once gold and white colors now gone, seemingly scratched or withered away.

His feet carried him up the stairs, his shoes making little sounds as his feet gently landed on the stone as he climbed higher. Without a minute going by, he had reached the top, facing tall doors and long, currently empty hallways. His heart did not begin to rapidly beat as it used to, for he was only up here to get abused by his 'father' or to lock himself in his room. Adrien turned right, continuing to walk the familiar path from his stairs to his room. If anything his heart wasn't racing, it was slowing.

For once Adrien walked on this path, in this house, up those stairs with a normal heart pace. Normal it was rushed as he ran to avoid beer bottles, books or as he jogged up the stairs to avoid his father in general. The oldest memory was him running down the stairs to greet his mother.

Adrien sat on his bed, reading Peter Pan from his book of tales. He smiled to himself as he looked at the picture of Peter flying, the little boy wishing he could too. A large creaking, along with a door closing echoed through the empty house, since Gabriel and all his minions had left for a meeting for Gabriel's business. Adrien immediately dropped the book, his smile growing bigger as he hopped off his bed, sprinting towards his door. His bare feet made tiny slapping sounds as they carried the small boy out of his room, down the hallway and eventually to the top of the stairs, where he looked over the railing at the door.

"Mama!" Adrien said, his high pitched voice echoed through the house, making a tall blonde woman look up. Her vibrant green eyes met his as she smiled warmly at her child, who so clearly got his sparkle in his eyes from her.

"Hi baby!" She said. Adrien ran down the stairs to see his mother kneeling down with her arms wide open, her eyes sparkling as she smiled. Adrien jumped into his mothers arms, snuggling in the crook of her neck as she laughed warmly.

"How are you baby?" Her sweet voice asked the young boy.

"Fine." Adrien said. He jumped upon hearing his own voice as his mind jumped back to reality and out of the so distant memory. He sighed, rubbing his hand against his temples, trying to get his heart to slow. It pounded in his chest as his heart ached for the warmth of his mothers love, whom he hadn't seen since he was 8.

Adrien looked up and took in his surroundings, realizing as his kind replayed his memory his legs had carried him in front of his door, planting his feet there as if he was standing his own ground. His muscles relaxed as he let out another sigh, his hand wrapping around the cold metal of his door handle, turning it slowly.

Adrien walked into his huge room he hadn't been in for months, but he remembered everything. His legs and feet carried him towards his dresser, where his suitcase was sitting on the top of. He grabbed the leather fabric in the handle and took the empty case off the dresser, grabbing the zipper and beginning to unzip it.

His opened all his drawers, grabbing shirts, pants, shorts, undergarments, cologne, and his phone charger. His heart raced as he rushed to grab everything, stuffing it it the suitcase. Adrien walked over by his computer to grab the hat Marinette had made during the contest when his elbow his his computer and accidentally pushed too hard, turning on the screen. Adrien turned to come face to face with a picture of his mother.
