She saw him that day
It was under the stars where he lay
From ever since the young girl prayed
To love the boy who planned to stay. She saw him again a months after.
With his friends who were dying of laughter.
And he was there sitting like a master
Oh how much he looked so much smarterAgain, after a month she saw him
Strangely enough, looking thin
Her worried look was at her whim
Hoping, hoping the light wasn't dimLike a pattern she saw him again.
But this time surrounded by a group of men
Then she realised it was his fathers friends.
And how much he wanted the meeting to end.Now it was the warm month of May
She has nothing to worry about as she watches him pay
He walks out the shop, not hearing her whisper stay.
But at least she had a happy day. It's finally summer now.
And everyone has gone all out.
And the girl is watching him shout
As his friends give the girls a very big bow.July is here with hidden sadness
The girl won't see him with so much stress.
And no matter what happens, it doesn't become any less
And each day passes, dress after dressFinally the holidays appear
And she sees him again really quite near.
Her friends keep telling her to face her great fear.
But no...she couldn't lose someone she holds dearAnother month, another sight
Of the beautiful boy hidden in light.
And she nearly (almost) lost her fright
And almost (nearly) forgot what's wrong and what's right.Halloween is here and so is he
She is right in front but he cannot see
So much so, she couldn't breathe
And no, just no, she couldn't believeIt's freezing cold now, he's all bundled up
His face so red he's asking the wind stop.
And he was so close, but not enough.
Too much so, she thought it was a bluffAnd now she waits so patiently
For him and her to finally meet
Under the stars by the merry tree
With a present in her hand this Christmas Eve.
