It was a cloudy afternoon, I was with my friend Alex playing videogames in her house, since she invited me because it was going to rain I felt a little out of place. When dinner came, Alex's mom yelled our names, I was kind of embarrassed that she needed to feed me, being the fact that I'm a fifteen year old boy with an appetite of a lumberjack, well at least it's my favorite, Pasta, she always made it a special way that I like, steamy and warm with a side of cilantro.
Once we were done eating, Alex told me that we should go back upstairs to play more, but, it stopped raining so I had to go before my mom freaked out a little more.
– Come on just for a second, pleeeaaase
Then Alex's mom came in.
–I think we should drop you off, before it starts again
–I think thats an amazing idea Mrs. V.
I said trying not for it to seem obvious that I wanted to leave, its not that I don't like Alex but her mom has tried to set us up for years now and it got to a point that it's awkward, the worst part is that its for the money I'm going to get when my Grandpa dies, damn I hate her so much because of that, but, she makes a really good pasta.
– hop in
Mrs V said while opening the door for me
Driving down the road she tried to bring up the "cute teenage crush" topic.
– sooo you guys have been friends for a long time now...
Me trying to sound polite
– Yeah four years now.
Says with a duchy chuckle
– And...just friends right?
– Yeah just friends
Trying to give a message to her thick skull.
And through out the little chat Alex was just sitting there trying to play dumb with her PSP in the back seat; Jesus I hate it when she does that.
– Get ready to run.
She said trying to advise me that we are almost to my house
–Bye.
– Bye
Alex and I tried to say goodbye as fast as we could before her mother could react, but, it was too late and she already opened her stupid ass mouth.
– Aw so cute. Look Alex your blushing
I ran out of that car to take the steps to my house as fast as I could before she opened her trap towards me...
