All Because There Was No Coffee

Coffee is not just a drink for most people, it is a way of life. But would happen if coffee just...ran out? Surely the world would be in catastrophe. 

The morning started out normally; the bright, warm sun and the sound of birds chirping woke me up, and I realize that I overslept. (Oh well, it's Saturday, so it's not a big deal.) I pulled myself out of bed and walked downstairs. "Ow!" I say in "major" pain. Typical. I stubbed my toe. Anyway, I walk downstairs as I start dreaming of my normal cup of warm, delicious, and winter flavored chocolate-peppermint coffee. Yum! I open the pantry door and, to my surprise, there is no coffee! Not even a way to make coffee! NOT EVEN CREAMER! I'm starting to feel lightheaded. No coffee! I can't imagine! Oh wait... I'll just go to the store and get some more!

When I got to the store, I RAN to the coffee aisle. And you will not believe this: there was only one coffee box left! I grabbed it and ran to the checkout line. And right before I was about to pay, a woman runs up to me and screams, " You have coffee! I NEED IT! PLEASE! I HAVE 6 KIDS! YOU DON"T UNDERSTAND!!" "What?" I reply. "I need it more than you do." The the cashier said, "Haven't you heard? There is a coffee scarcity! People are paying billions of dollars for just one sip of coffee." Wow. I haven't even had time to watch the news. Crazy morning.
