Crash. That's most of what she could hear. Crash. Fatal. Collision. Accident.

Persephone knew it was purposeful. In her heart, she knew. But it couldn't be proved. The duo that had hit her girlfriend with a car had stayed back to watch her. A clever guise. Persephone had a gut feeling that they were guilty, but with no way to make her point clear.

Either way, nothing could be done. Nobody told Persephone that, though. She was grieving alone. She still believed that one day, Sugar would come walking into their apartment, completely fine and free of injury. She stayed, cooped up in her house, looking at pictures and silently weeping, only stopping to sleep, eat, and go to Ocean Town college.

Amy was a typical rebel. She listened to loud music, had bright lavender hair, and disobeyed everybody. She had just turned 21, and used her parents' home as a way stop in between hangouts with her friends. Her fathers got worried sick about her and continued to lecture her about staying out, but she never listened to them. One day, they decided to send her to a small, sleepy town by the name of Ocean Town. They hoped it could do something to calm Amy down.
