Some book I tries to write when I was 12...

Prologue / Author's Note

Being the extraordinary creatures that we humans are, we commonly tend to sit down, relax, and wonder. It could be anywhere, whether it be when you're having your lunch break, at a school table where your head flops on your desk a you slowly let your imagination take over your body, or even just supervising your kids on a bench at the local park, we always tend to imagine and wonder. Don't think that this doesn't come naturally though.

We, as humans, have been doing this for hundreds of thousands of years. We have looked up at the stars and wondered what they were. And eventually, due to the science field of astrology, stars became so important back in the olden days, that we used them as calendars. It was a way to tell when to hunt. It was a way to tell the coming of the winter. 

But, we also wonder about how we got here, on this planet. For those of you who are wondering about that right now, due to the perfect series of events, humans became able to evolve and flourish. Spread like wildfire. But what you also have to take into account, how did dinosaurs go extinct? 

Scientists have been debating this for centuries, but the most likely answer was a meteor crash. There is evidence to back up this theory, but they might of also died as a result of continuous volcanic eruptions and that the meteor was the final blow, wiping out the reign of the dinosaurs.

But sometimes we wonder what would happen if this didn't happen at all. Not just scientists, but regular people in the community ponder this as well, if you're bored enough. Now, let's just say, this happened. There is no extinction whatsoever. The dinosaurs still reign as the dominant group of species in the world to this very day let's just say. What would living in that planet, that theory look like?

That's what this book is about. This book is based on a movie which asks this same question. Regular people in the community come up with these ideas and theories. But don't feel like this is special either. There are many movies based on dinosaurs out there, of course. Jurassic Park, Walking with Dinosaurs, The Land Before Time, etc. . But, out of all the movies about dinosaurs out there, you may be asking yourself, "Why this?"

I decide to write a fan-fiction based on this movie because this is the one in this genre that I like the best. Not Jurassic World, this.  On things for sure though, as a Pixar fan for many years now, I have seen all the films, this honestly has to be my favourite Pixar film. That's why.

As an author, I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did watching the film. I hope you enjoy.
