Uncalled For Love

Princeton's P.O.V.

I ran over to my bed grabbing my phone, I was getting a phone call for the second time. I looked at the screen and saw 'Ray-Ray' flash across the phone, I slid the button-thing to the right and brought the device to my ear.

"Hello ?" I said into the receiver. "Hey Prince." Pause, intake the phone off my ear to see if he hung up, no.

"H-hello ?" I hesitantly speak. "Oh sorry, yeah uhm. What... what are you doing today ?" Ray asks. I scrunch my face up looking at my plane white ceiling. "Nothing Actually."

"Okay cool. Wanna go to the park and get ice-cream or something ?" That sounds fun, I think nodding my head 'yes,. Realizing I'm on the phone and he can't see me I quickly breathe out a, "Yeah, sure."

I hang up after he mentions what park and I shower.

"I don't like my ice-cream, its freezer burned." I pout dumping the sugary dessert on the pavement and eating the waffle cone Ray-Ray bought for me. We walked for a while talking about Prod and Roc.

"Well his dance moves are fresh, I'll admit that." Ray laughs as he slides to the side, mocking one of Prodigy's dance moves. I laugh mad loud and wind up on my face. I legit just tripped over air, landed on my knee, then face. My best friend started to laugh at me, but as soon as he saw my pained face his dropped, and he picked me up and carried me to his house. I Never really noticed how close we were until now honestly.

"Here." I look up from my bleeding wound, perfect day to wear shorts, and grab the band-aid. I mumble a "Thanks," and place it over my knee and look up to see Ray staring at me.... or the wall. I smile and he gives me a half one back. I awkwardly pull my phone out and tell my mom I'm not gonna be home because I staying the night at Ray-Ray's. I look back up to let him know of my new found plans, but he's gone.
