Don't Die On Me

Josh's POV:

I went into the hospital lobby. I walked up to the desk quickly. "Where's room 207?" I asked the lady behind the desk. She pointed to an elevator on the right. "It's the first room on the next floor up." She said politely. I walked over to the elevator and clicked the up button. An elevator opened. I walked inside. I clicked on the second floor button inside the elevator. So then I just stood there. Waiting. I glanced at the bottom of the elevator door, reminding me of the time I put my phone in between the elevator and the wall. I grew sad remembering that, for my best friend was in the hospital. The doors finally opened on the second floor. I ran out and looked for Tyler's room. I found it and I knocked on the door. A nurse answered. "Are you Josh?" She asked me. I nodded. "Tyler had been wanting to see you." She said and let me in. "Is everything alright?" I asked when I walked in. "Yes. Everything is ok with Tyler." I sighed. "Now I have to go get some work done, so I should be back shortly." The nurse said and walked out. I walked and i saw a curtain surrounding Tyler's bed. I moved it. I saw my friend sleeping. "Tyler?" I asked softly. His dreary eyes opened. "Josh?" Tyler croaked out. "Hey. Are you feeling ok?" I asked. "Yeah..im fine." Tyler said. "Jenna told me what happened." I said. Tyler groaned. "I can't stand her anymore. That lady is always asking me questions and forcing me to love her." He said. "But hey. I gotta tell you something." Tyler said. "What?" I asked. All this sudden the beeps on the machine all faded into one. Just one long beep. "Tyler?!" I asked panicking. "No No NO!! Tyler!! Don't die on me now please!!" I yelled, shaking Tyler.
