"Goodbye mate I'll miss you" I say to my best friend as I turn to give him one last hug "I'll see you soon okay" he smiled gently and wiped away the few tears that escaped my eyes with that done I turned and walked towards the plane to leave everything I have learned to know and going to "the land of the free"... man I really hope California is going to be good.

"Flight 304 is now landing please buckle up and I hope y'all love California" this flight attendant is way to happy I mean she's been walking around an dealing with assholes for 14 hours straight; I slowly start getting all of my things ready for the landing I slowly reach down and grab my small backpack I take my ear phones out and put them into the bag as well as my phone. Once the plane lands everyone starts to get up and gather the rest if their belongings; slowly each row if people start leaving the plane my row coming last. Once out of the plane I can now see all of the different people here in California I look to my left and there stands a girl with bright red hair looking like flames on top of her head holding a sign with the name of the person she's greeting and to my right I see a young boy standing with a small batch of roses in front of him with a small teddy bear... " darling come now we must get our bags" my mother says pulling me from my thoughts we walk side by side as we get closer to the baggage claim I can see a familiar sight my brother Jason whom I haven't seen since I was very young but here he is standing with our bags a big smile on his face showing off his pearly white teeth, running away from my mother and into the arms of him I feel safe tears are threatening to spill out over my big eyes.

I can tell my elder brother is just trying to make small talk "it's been fine I just hope the schooling system here isn't to different from back home" I speak honestly I really do hope the people here like me or that even if they don't there still nice enough to not say anything. Once we got inside the house I went straight up the stairs to tired to bring my bags up when I went in there my room my bed and dresser were already in there since we got our stuff moved before we came I was to tired and jet lagged to do anything else so I went to sleep.
