Today's the day my friends and I have been waiting for since the start of school. We've been planning this vacation for months. We're going to Maine for 2 weeks.
I bring my hands to my face and rub my eyes. My phone vibrates and I roll over the the side of the bed to get my phone. There is a text from Alexa, my friend who I've known since grade school.
John, are you up yet?
I decide to call her because I'll get a faster response and I'm too lazy to type right now. She answers on the first ring.
"Hey! I can't wait!" She says excitedly.
"Me either! I'll go shower and then pick you up," I respond.
"Ok hurry up! Text me when you're on your way here." she says and hangs up immediately after.
I try to rush into the shower when the slippery surface of the bathroom catches me off guard, causing me to fall and bust my ass. "God damn it fuck!" I yell in pain laying on the floor with my hands on my ass. "Roger!" I scream and he comes running in. The slippery surface throws hit feet forward and he falls onto his back. Floor 2, us 0.
"What the fuck happened in here?" I yell jabbing him in the side with my fist.
He shrieks in pain and curls up into a ball on his side, hugging his knees. "I um... might've come out mid shower because I- I forgot to get my towel," he says hesitantly.
"You're a fucking idiot."
We finally manage to get up from the floor and I push him out so I can shower. Fuck I probably wasted 5 minutes because of that bastard.
