Chapter 35 {By Ramey}

Me and Neptune took a picture with the green headed girl and then she took a picture with Lauren.

We said goodbye to her, made our purchase, then left the Hot Topic.

"Are you hungry. Wanna get some food?" I ask Lauren.

"Can we get Panda Express?" She asks.

I shrug and look at Neptune for approval and she nods.

"Yeah sure. Let's go to the food court." I say.

I take a look at the map of the mall that was on the wall.

The food court was straight ahead. Why did I need a map?

Whatever.

We walk to the Panda Express and Lauren orders General tso's chicken and noodles, Neptune and I got fried rice and orange chicken.

Once our food was ready, they gave us cups and we got drinks and found a seat.

I ripped my chopsticks apart from one another and rubbed them against each other to sand them down of any splinters.

I pick up a piece of chicken with my chopsticks and plop it into my mouth.

I stare at the bubbles rising to the top of my Sprite and let my eyes unfocus.

My phone buzzes in my pocket and it's a text from Calum.

Calum-fornia🙄:hey

I stare at the screen of my phone for a minute.

I guess he saw my read notification and he replies with;

Calum-fornia🙄:i'm sorry

Me: for what?

Calum-fornia🙄: I don't know. what did i do? i'm just apologizing in case.

Me: what do you think you did?

Calum-fornia🙄: ...I'm sorry for pushing you and trying to make your decisions for yourself. I'm not your dad, I should stop bossing you around. It's your life.

Me: exactly you're not my dad. so why do you boss me around

Calum-fornia🙄:because I care about you

Me: Jesus don't try and make this sound like you're doing something good for me

Calum-fornia🙄:I'm not trying to

Me: why are you posting pictures of us? the hate messages are already rolling in my DM's

Calum-fornia🙄: I'm sorry don't listen to them

Me: I have to go

Calum-fornia🙄: bye..

I sigh and begin eating my food again.

"Who was it?" Neptune asks.

"Calum" I sigh.

"Is he being stupid?" She asks.

"When is he NOT being stupid?" Lauren scoffs.

I chuckle lightly. "That's true."

Once we finished eating, we decided to go to our favorite spot in town. It was time for us to share it with someone, Lauren.
