Zander awoke with a start breathing heavily.He looked out the window to see the warm sun begin to rise,coloring the sky with oranges and purples of different types.He got up out of bed and sat at the edge for a minute.They are gonna go looking for me and Lee today,he thought.He looked over at his sister Lee.They had run away after their village had been destroyed by the traitors in the south.They had survived and had been running since then.The traitors were trying to track them.After the first week Zander began to think,we are just kids.Why would they go through all that trouble?He then grew suspicious,maybe this was bigger than them being just kids.His mother had told him that he and his sister had something special to help the world.When he was about 11 he did have wierd abilities.Like,he was able to swim for long periods of time underwater.He could also heal himself.Only now did he think more of them.Did they have the fate of the world in their hands?Did the traitors want them for that?
