Blue. The one word I can use to describe my situation with absolute certainty. Everything was blue. Even my sister was looking a little blue now. It has been what feels like five nights, and I am still blank on how to get out of here. Nicole thinks we should stay, because they feed us and make sure we survive, but I think their just keeping us alive for some crazy plan. I've tried to stay awake, so that I can see them when they deliver us blue meatloaf in our sleep, but they don't come until we sleep. I thought that if we don't sleep they would just give in, but Nicole started to complain about hunger so I gave in. They could win this round, but one day I'll find them. If of course, I can ever get out.

I've had many plans. Break the skylight and then climb out it, but it was strong plastic, not glass.  I thought we could try to pick at the locks, but nothing in the room was the right size. I then thought we should try to break the locks, but that took forever, and once we fell asleep after a few days of staying awake, they replaced the locks. The ever so optimistic Nicole has already given up hope, and resorts to laying on her cot staring up at the Bay. Even that tall luminous tower was starting to look blue. I think I am going colorblind.

"Natalie?" Nicole questions, "Do you think Les is okay? Do you think the reapers got to him and Madeline?" Her voice sounds worried. I had not yet thought about my younger siblings. My brain had been to preoccupied with escaping.

"I think they will be fine. Les might be young but he's strong, he would know how to protect himself." I respond, but even I don't believe myself. "He most likely hid Madeline, then left the house if they came searching. They wouldn't have found her, and they would have thought no one was home."

"You're could be right... I guess." Nicole sighs. She sounds annoyed, as though it was somehow my fault we were stuck here. I decide to let it slide, we have been going through a lot.

~PING~

I look to where I thought the noise came from. I see nothing.

~PING...PING...PING~

As I look around I see something through the skylight. It almost looks like a person. He is standing on the deck of the Bay looking down on us. We lock eyes, and he turns around and walks inside. I wanted to scream. Scream at him to help us, but I know it would be no use. I turn to see if Nicole saw him, but she was sleeping. I decide there is no rush in waking her up, so I lie back and fall off into a dream
