We are transported to Berlin high security precautions places around transporting bucky. Rhodey sits with me in the car I'm in split forms steve and sam who are in there own cars it was and awkward silence between me and Rhodey "why'd you do it"he asks I scoff "that's a stupid question"I retort he sighs "Gracie this isn't a joke your in serious trouble is he worth all this"he frowns at me I freeze before looking Rhodey in the eyes "he's worth every moment of this"I pause "I'd go to hell and back for him Rhodey so becoming a criminal for him well what you would call a criminal"I sigh "it's worth it"I says looking away.

Once we arrive at the base in Berlin we pull up I get out of the car before Rhodey I look over and see steve and sam exiting the other car with the king. We share a look before I turn seeing bucky strapped down in a glass box I step towards it Rhodey stands in front of me shaking his head "he's not an animal"I snap at Rhodey he just shakes his head I growl turning away from him walking to join steve and sam. We notice Sharon standing with some guy in a grey suit and walk towards him "what's gonna happen to him"I ask the guy in the suit "the same thing that otta happen to the two of you psychological evaluation and extradition"he replies looking at me and steve "this is Everett Ross deputy task force commander"Sharon introduces "what about a lawyer"steve says "a lawyer he's funny"Ross says I roll my eyes at him "see to that their weapons are placed under lock up oh I'll write you a receipt"Ross says smirking "I better not look out the window and see anybody flying around in that"sam snaps as we follow after the commander. I give one last look back at bucky as door close separating us tears well in my eyes and a lump in my throat I swallow it down and ignore the water on my eyes I can't cry not here.

"You will provided with an office instead of a cell and do me a favour stay in it"Ross says as we walk "I don't intend on going anywhere"T'challa says I see Nat to the side and she joins in the group were walking in "for the record this is what making it worse looks like"Nat says walking next to me "he's alive"I say stone faced. As we walk into the office I hear and see Tony talking on the phone and frown he's gonna be pissed with me I just know it. The others walk off leaving me sam and steve standing in front of Tony who finishes his conversation hanging up the phone "consequences"steve asks "secretary Ross wants the three of you prosecuted I had to give him a little something"Tony says stepping down the steps walking to the side "I'm not getting that shield back am I"steve asks "technically is the governments property"Nat says joining Tony before they both walk off "that's cold"sam says "warmer than jail"Tony says back walking out of site. I growl punching the wall close to me steve grabs my other hand as I pull my fist from the wall "get off"I snap walking away from him. I didn't mean to snap at steve I'm just angry and emotional.

I sat alone in the office I was given across from steves if I looked across the camera area I could see steve in his glass office sitting there we stared at each other for a while before Tony walks in breaking the look. "If your here to rant at me about how what I did was stupid get it over with cause I'm not in the mood"I sigh looking away at the CCTV screens seeing bucky in the small box in a cell "none of that from me I'm not here to yell at you cause I know that wouldn't work and I'd be wasting my breath"he says stepping in closer "I saw you talked to steve a little while ago"I comment "him I don't rant to"Tony smirks I smile a little before frowning again "is pepper here I don't see her"I look around "about that me and pepper we kinda well we are taking a break"he admits my ace softens "Tony I'm so sorry"I frown "you didn't tell me before"I say stepping closer to him "I was hoping the break wouldn't be long enough for me to have to"he says "it's no ones fault"Tony says as we both sit down on the couch "a few years ago when I almost lost her and trashed all my suits I swore I wouldn't be iron man again but then we had hydra to mop up and then ulton my fault and then I never stopped truth is I don't wanna stop I don't wanna lose her I thought maybe the accords could split the difference in her defence I am a handful"Tony sighs standing staring to mindlessly walk around "dad was a pain in the ass but you put up with him for years and he made the work with mom"he says looking at the CCTV monitors "he loved your mom and she loved him when you love someone you make it work no matter what"I say meaning bucky and how the situation we are in technically means we are broken up but I gotta hope I can get him back to the old him somehow. "Like you and bucky"he raises his brows I sigh looking down "accept you do realise him trying and almost killing you kinda was a break up right mom"Tony says walking around "I wish I could see it that way"I say "no you don't and god does that make me wanna punch you in your well structured face"Tony says rolling his eyes I smile gently "steve said the same thing well along the lines of that how he couldn't turn down a opportunity to help someone in need even if the person who needs help is a psycho assassin with a metal arm"Tony says "and I'll tell you the same thing I told him.. we need you and I came to you last because the truth is I'm scared that all this is gonna make us have a falling out and I just lost pepper I can't lose my other best gal"Tony says standing above me as I stay seated "we can make this all go away if you and steve just signed the accords I could have you put in an American base not a wakandan prison"Tony says I frown turning away looking at the accords on the desk I pick up a pen standing walking to the end of the desk "I'm not saying it would be possible I'd have to talk to steve cause I'm guessing he said no again but there would have to be safe guards"I say looking up from the pen at Tony "sure once we put out the PR fire these documents can be amended I filed a motion to get you steve and Wanda reinstated"Tony says "Wanda what happened to Wanda"I frown "she's fine currently confined in a compound visions keeping her company" Tony sits "oh god Tony"I scoff turning away from him "every time I think we are getting somewhere"I snap "what it's a hundred acres with a lap pool there's a screening room there worse ways to protect people"Tony says defending his choice "protection"I say my voice raising "is that how you see this as protection it's internment Tony"I snap "she's not a U.S citizen and they don't grant visas to weapons of mass distraction"Tony snaps back I glare at him "she's a kid"I tell "give me a break"Tony yells I stay quite "ill do what has to be done to save off something worse"he says quietly "yeah you keep telling yourself that"I nod sarcastically "I'm gonna take my leave"I say walking out and going across to steves office sitting next to sam.

I had talked to steve about me snapping and he said he understood he looked at my hand which has small cuts on it "I've had worse"I smile "you and Tony looked like you had a heated talk"he says "it's Tony he gets me heated at times"I shrug steves my best friend but something's I keep to myself and what happens between me and Tony isn't something I wanna talk about with steve. Me and steve sit and watch as a man starts interviewing bucky not that we can hear anything the screens outside the glass we are in. my heart breaking seeing bucky so uncomfortable and not being able to help him "here's the receipt for your gear"Sharon says entering the room giving a bit of paper to sam. "Bird costume come on"sam says "I didn't write it"Sharon defends just then the screen above me and steve turns on "I'm not here to judge you"a voice says as bucky appears on the screen closer to us and so we can here Sharon had turned it on for us "I just wanna ask you a few questions do you know where you are James"the man asks bucky who stays silent "I can't help you if you won't talk to me James"the man says pleading with bucky to speak up "my name is buck"he finally says my heart skips a beat at his voice god he still has this effect on me.

"Why would the task force release this photo to begin with"steve asks looking at the picture of "bucky" from the cctv "get the word out involve as many eyes as we can"Sharon answers "right it's a good way to flush a guy out of hiding set of a bomb get your picture taken it got 7 million people looking for the winter soldier"steve says me and sam share a look before frowning back at steve where was he going with this "your saying someone framed him to find him"Sharon says I sigh "makes sense we spent 2 years looking for him and found nothing"I shrug "we didn't bomb the UN that would turn a lot of heads"sam says "so that doesn't guarantee whoever framed him would get him it was a guarantee that we would"Sharon says I frown and look up at the screen bucky is on steve seems to catch my drift "yeah"steve says as we look at the doctor talking to bucky. Just then the cameras go along with the lights all over the building me and steve look at each other then at sam "sub level 5 easy wing"Sharon says telling us where to find bucky and like that we take off running.
