When we get to Thoth's hideout it takes everything in me not to drag his smartass all the way to Set's pyramid.

I the back into the conversation when I hear Thoth say," Your father died dropped his guard. That was utterly completely stupid. Now I'm forced to write down everything I know. As a remote possibility that Set's war finds me.''

I take a deep breath and when I release smoke comes from my nostrils. "I'm sorry that the corpses of my parents inconvenience you." Horus responds with a dangerous tone.

And Thoth being the asshole he is replies,"Apology accepted. Now get out!" I clench my fist and breath heavily through my nose. Horus grabs his shoulder and turns him around. Almost immediately his clones unsheathe their swords.

I roll my eyes at them and lean onto Kai's shoulder. Thoth pulled the last straw when he said,"I outnumber you." I lean away from Kai and my right hand catches fire. "You won't outnumber us if you're nothing but a burnt skelton." He opens his mouth to reply, but Bek beats him to it.

"So your scared." He said to Thoth and all I could think was oh shit.

I laughed
Horus pulled me away before I heard the rest of the conversation. He lead us just outside of the room and pushed me up against the wall smashing his lips to mine.

I was shocked at first and I guess he took me not kissing him back as a signal that I didn't like him like that when in reality I love him more than I did the day he abandoned me for Hathor. I put my hands on his cheek and he leaned down and kissed me again.

I deepen it and I dying know how long we kiss, it felt like seconds, but my lungs screaming for sure told me otherwise. He separates and someone clears their throat.

I turn around and see one of Thoth's clones there smirking at us. My face heats up and I bow my head my hair falling in front of my face. I smile remembering the kiss and walk into the room like nothing happened.

Kai looks at my lips and raises his eyebrows up and down. I laugh and kiss his cheek.

They didn't suspect the chance of me being a traitor.

Who would even bring the idea to light. Surely not Horus.
