The first thing Joel typically does when he gets home from school is go the fuck to sleep to make up for staying awake in his phone until about 4AM every night.
He just throws his backpack on the floor and sleeps. On. The. Floor. Only to be awoken by a dinging noise emanating from his phone, it was a notification from musical.ly.
It was Luke. He had just posted a new video!
"HOLY FLUFFING HECK! IT'S LUUUUKIIEEE" Joel squeals
Joel excitedly hops up from the floor and throws himself onto his couch, while hugging his giant
giraffe pillow he opened up the app and loaded his feed, which took FOREVER to do because his wifi was shit.
Joel watched the new musically and he just adored Luke's adorable face, Cookie Monster onesie and fluffy looking hair.
The slow motion lyrics rang in Joel's ears
"oh my god I love you so"
he wonders who the song is meant for, after all, they had only talked a couple times when Luke was answering questions on Live.ly's and small conversations in the DM's, but he still clings to the hope that the audio is for him.
Sorry if the information regarding how Joel acts or anything like that is inacurrate. I'm really bad at fanfiction. Also I'm really bad at writing in general but I hope to keep writing this😊
