"Are you sure you want to do this?" Tom asked me and looked into my eyes in concern. He looked really sad, because he didn't want to let me go. I understand that, I don't want to let him go either. Of course we could stay in touch, but it would never be the same again. I'm gonna miss him a lot.
"Yes, Tom. I want to do this, and actually, I have to. Being here is not safe for me now. I will try my best to be with you after all. If we really do love each other, we can make that happen", a flash of hope went through his eye and I let out a tear.
"I'm going to miss you, but my life must change. I'm only 16, I need to make myself a better life. Safe life", I kept on talking, getting sadder with every word I was saying.
"I love you, Brook", Tom said as he wrapped his arms around me and took me into a warm embrace.
I broke the hug after a few seconds and kissed his lips gently. "I love you too".
***
Tom was the last person to see me before I turned my back and went on to the next station in my life.
I was already packed up and ready to go. I had a Phoenix feather wand, a robe and a new cat named Stormy, because I bought it on a rainy day.
I was ready to go.
I arrived the 9 3/4 platform, which was right between the 9th and the 10th, and took a deep breath. Say goodbye to your last life, Brook. Because they're over. And with that being said, I ran straight into the wall of bricks.
"Ow! Shit! Wrong wall", I said to myself as I patted my now hurt head. "You better watch where you're going, Miss", I heard a redhead kid laugh at me from the right. He threw a stupid smirk at me, then ran to the wall in front of him and disappeared.
Well, if a 10 year old can do that, I can sure do that too.
I went to the wall he ran to and focused hard. I closed my eyes and ran directly into the wall.
Now we're talking.
I went through a strange alley and suddenly noticed a crowd of kids walking with cages and suitcases. I guess I'll follow them.
They all were heading to one direction, and a few minutes after that, I found myself standing, surrounded by little kids waiting for a train to come. I think I was the oldest one there, but I didn't care. I was too nervous to care. All I could think about was me being a wizard and my boyfriend Tom, who was a muggle. How I wish he was now here with me, walking through alleys and running through walls with strange pets in our hands. I really do love him, and now I will only be able to see him during the holidays and breaks.
I got distracted by a wave of smoke bursting into my face. I looked up and could clearly see a big train standing in front us. Should I go in? I'll wait for the other kids to react, then I'll follow them.
God, this sucks! In my last life, I was my own boss, you know? I was smart and funny, all the boys fell in love with me at some point, I got the best grades in school and had lots of friends, all the teachers loved me. And now look at me. 16 years old, and following a crowd of 11 year old kids before doing anything of my decision. I'm not even sure if I'll have any friends there. The students there will probably be annoying and full of themselves because they're wizards. We won't get along well, and this sucks. I know this sounds weird, but I wish I was a muggle. At least I could have stayed with Tom that way.
All the kids got in the train, and so did I.
It was large and wide, and had small booths on each side of it. I looked for an empty booth, then walked in.
I put my bags and Stormy on each side of my body and closed my eyes. Maybe, if I get lucky, I'll sleep a little.
But I didn't. A tall boy opened the door and looked at me.
"Hey, all of the other booths are full, may I sit with you?"
Well, at least he was polite. He looked something around my age and had blue eyes and perfectly blonde hair. To be honest, his face didn't look very kind, but who am I to judge? He seemed nice now. "Sure", I forced a smile and he smiled happily at my approval.
I looked at him as he placed his stuff and sat in front of me.
"I'm Draco Malfoy", he looked at me and offered his hand. I shook it.
"Hi, I'm Brook", I tried smiling although I was feeling like shit at the moment.
"So... how come I never saw you before? How old are you?" He asked and wiped his hand in his hair.
"I'm 16. It's just that it took a really long time to find out that I'm a wizard... for some reason. Should I be worried?" I got a little nervous but still smiled.
"I don't think so. But hey, Hogwarts is great. And I'm going to help you, I promise", he said with an extra sweet voice.
"Thanks, Draco", I smiled at him, but now I smiled for real.
We kept on chatting and before noticing, we got to Hogwarts.
I stood up and so did Draco. We took our things and got out of the train. Draco grabbed my hand and smiled, and we went inside the huge building.

A/N hey! Thank you for reading this chapter! This is going to be a very long story, so let me know what do you think so far :)
