Puppy || 2Jae ff

Prologue

Jaebum was sitting in his house, it was a chill and relaxing saturday and he was drinking his morning coffee.

He had already decided that he would stay at home for the rest of the day, not only because he was too lazy to do something but also because his kids weren't home today.

Jaebum had two sons, twins in fact, which he got at an early age but their mother left them as fast as she could leave the hospital and cut all kind of contact with Jaebum. She wasn't ready to be a mom after all. Jaebum had been taking care of the boys by himself with help from his supportive parents (who his kids also curently were at) and he didn't regret a thing. Well maybe that he had kids at such a young age but he loved them with all his heart.

Jaebum got interrupted from his calm breakfast when he heard scratching on the door, not knocking, scratching. He decided to walk up to his door and check what was going on. He opened it and outside was a little white puppy.

He looked at it for a few seconds until it ran into his house with no warning.

Jaebum panicked and tried to run after and stop the dog but the dog had already gone far into his house. He let out a deep sigh and waited a few minutes until the dog came back to the kitchen.

"Come here" He commanded and tapped his knee, he wanted to see if the dog had any kind of way to contact it's owner on the collar.

The dog happily jumped into Jaebum's lap and stroke itself against him in hope to be petted. Jaebum lazily pet the dog as he looked at the collar.

"Coco" He said slowly and the dog turned it's head towards him. "Okay that's you for sure"

He was about to give up when he saw a phone number on the inside of the collar.

"Okay might as well try it" Jaebum said to himself, he had no thoughts on stopping his habit of talking to himself.

He put in the number in his phone and called, he was suprisingly nervous to talk to unknown people but he knew that he couldn't keep this lost dog any longer.

"Hello?" An unknown voice answered, it sounded like a male but he wasn't too sure.

"Uhm Hi I'm Jaebum..did you perhaps lose your dog recently?" Jaebum said, cursing himself for sounding so nervous.

"Did you find Coco?" The voice said, now sounding more excited.

"Yes, he or her is in my house right now" Jaebum said, feeling more confident when he knew that he was talking to the right person.

"If i send you my adress can you take her to me? If you aren't busy ofcourse!" The dog owner said.

"No it's fine, I can come over" Jaebum said, he wasn't exactly busy today.

"Okay thank you so much, i'll text you the info, goodbye!"

"Bye" Jaebum answered and the other ended the call.

Jaebum got a text from the person he just talked to and saw the adress, the text also said 'come whenever you can' so he decided that he might aswell go now.

"Hmm how will i get you to follow me.." He said to himself when he looked at the dog that was currently sleeping in his lap.

He decided to just wake the puppy up and put her next to himself in the car and drive to the owners house. Coco was suprisingly calm and just sat down on the seat next to him the whole ride until they finally arrived at the house.
