CoD Ghosts-Logan's Revenge

Author's Notes- This book is written in first person view, you are Logan. Anyway, this is my first book I have posted or published on Wattpad. Sorry that some chapters are short, I ran out of ideas to go with the theme of the chapter. Feel free to leave feedback and correct me if I spelt anything wrong! It isn't nearly as good as other books on Wattpad but I would appreciate if you read. Enjoy!

Chapter 1- JailBreak

It has been about 1 year since Rorke locked me in the cage and tried brain washing me. I still can't believe he is alive. I shot him in the chest and if that didn't kill him then he would have drowned. I have tried to escape many times, every time he or his Federation gaurds caught me and every time they caught me I had to transfer prisons, but this time will be different.

All this spare time I have come up with a plan they would never see coming, ok I admit they would see it coming but it's worth a shot. I have to wait until lunch time which is about 10 minutes from now when I get out of this cage. Next thing I knew, the gaurd yelled out "LUNCHTIME!" This was the time. I went over to the gaurd and punched him in the face. I took his AK-12 and made a run for it. When I got outside the main building, I heard the alarms blare. I ran to the fence and started climbing it. As I was climbing the fence I heard gunfire, I thought I would die here, I wad thinking about giving up, but no I came too far to just give up. I started climbing faster and before I knew it, I was out. Still they were shooting at me. I ran as fast as I could.

A few seconds later I felt the ground shake. Was it an earthquake? I looked back only to see that the prison and other buildings were destroyed. Was it the US? That didn't matter now, a US vessel will be waiting for me because yesterday I sneaked a call to Hesh telling him I would attempt to escape tommorow so have a vessel ready, but they had to be sneaky.

I ran and ran until I saw the vessel. "Long time no see!" said Hesh when he saw me. "How are you doing?" "I'm fine." I replied. "Lets get going." In the middle of the way back I asked him about the explosions. "Britain has joined the war because the Federation bombed London." Hesh replied.

Chapter 2- Federation's Revenge

San Diego, a destroyed city last time I saw it. They had rebuilt most of it, but some of it was still destroyed. The whole country was threathened because the Federation thought that we were the ones who bombed them. Some people moved to Canada to escape the warfare, but most stayed and 7/10 of those people who stayed volunteered to fight in the war. I thought that the attack could happen any second now so I just waited for the impact.

Nothing happened for about 2 hours. Then I heard loud explosions. It was so powerful I got knocked out of my chair. I knew that it was the attack. I looked outside and San Diego looked more destoryed then last time. I was thinking about all the people hurt and dead. I had to help these people. I opened the door and got in my car. I drove around the street which there wasn't much of it left so I got out and proceeded on foot. Most of the people I found were dead. Was it that bad? I thought. Was I lucky to survive? I only found about 3 or 4 people alive but really injured. "We need an ambulance!!" I shouted.

It was about 12 minutes until we got an ambulance. "It's about time." I said to the driver. "Don't blame me, there were only 3 ambulances not destroyed and so many people on other streets injured, this street was the hardest one hit." said the driver. "I can tell, I only found about 4 people alive on this street." I said. Just a minute later another round of planes swooped in and dropped more bombs on the city. One shot a missle at the dam and the city started flooding. Now it was a battlefield.

US helicopters have moved in and started firing their machine guns, but the planes didn't go down. The Federation have modified the plane to withstand gunfire, but the helicopter pilots didn't catch on and kept firing. Eventually, they found out what was going on and fired their missiles. By that time almost all of San Diego was destroyed and the Federation retreated. I knew the US wanted revenge.
