It All Falls Down

Ali had been standing at the top of a large flight of stairs watching Liam and his friends perform in Rockefeller Center.

Liam watched helplessly as Ali rolled head first down 40 steps.

"Ali!" Liam cried as he pushed past hundreds of screaming fans. Liam ran to Ali as fast as he could.

But he was not fast enough to save her from landing face-down on the pavement.

When he reached her, Liam dropped to his knees with his bandmates righy behind him.

Thousands of phones called for an ambulance.

Harry and Zayn stayed by Liam's side until it arrived. Louis and Niall shielded the other boys from the directioners so Liam could cry in peace.

When the ambulance arrived, the EMTs refused to allow Liam to ride with Ali. Liam wouldn't have it.

But after a quick fight with Paul, the EMTs finally let Liam sit in the back on the way to the hospital.

Liam grasped Ali's hand tightly the whole ride for fear of losing her.
